- I decided to redo my Kingdom Two Crowns speedrun this was the best of a few days of running. This record is definitely beatable after the 1.1.16 update.

A couple weeks ago, I decided to grind the base game/European setting to see if I could beat my older any% record before they added difficulties and this was the fastest of the 5/6 attempts. I was going to do a few more runs but the patch hit before I was able! From reading the patch notes, this time should be beatable on lower difficulties like peaceful/easy but I'll be playing around on Cursed before trying to re run this setting.

Thanks for showing some amazing runs. Trying it myself I got a 3h38m run and it really puts in perspective how good you are that you shaved (compared to what I thought was decent) a whole hour. Simply astonishing man

After 4 months I have PBed by 1 minute.
My ideal island 3 I think would have a close cliffside war horse so I can grab that for more consistency. Even with the knight statue buff, these retaliation waves on island 3 are BRUTAL. That being said, it’s nice when you can face 0 retaliations. Your RNG was pretty good, but this is a revolutionary strategy that allows for far more consistency than the no expansion route. Sometimes even if you have decent grasslands on both sides the archers sometimes just refuse to hunt/rabbits won’t spawn. You don’t have this issue with farming. Expanding your base also makes it so that you consistently take a full boat between islands as the triplet towers you get with the final town center upgrade can make it so you leave archers behind. Nice work! The coop run hasn’t been tried for a while, but I think pre- blood moon might happen in either single or coop. Single player is decently optimized with this run, but 30 or even 29 days is probably possible. Coop could probably beat it in 24 or 25 days
That weird coin drop at the start has happened to me a few times. Pain in the ass. It cost you the merchant that time.

Damn, this really shows how far and fast you can push the envelope in this game if you know what you're doing. I'm also laughing a little at the ghost hovering over a broken wall saying a lot of time has passed. My brother in cripes it's been a week.

Great run! Quick question, why did you buy the Knights statue? According to the Wiki, that only affects Knights and not your Squires. Or does it have some other effect?
It's possible the wiki is wrong or it was a more recent patch that changed it. The buffs did apply to squires in this run. You can compare the attacks at 1:18:17 (before knight state) to the attack at 1:47:06 (After the knight statue is bought).

How many builders, archers, and knights should I have in general when on an island and leaving?
Minimum is roughly 10 archers, 5-6 builders and a handful of farmers, no need to leave knights.
There's a decay mechanic that destroys walls and removes tools from citizens if you are away for an island for too long.

i was under the impression the farm could only hold 6 active farmers regardless of space? is this no longer true?
I believe space was always a factor. RNG wall or camp positioning heavily impacts your income in the early days on an island.

When you destroy the cave does it get rid of the portals on the opposite side?
It doesn't get rid of the portals but it deactivates them so they no longer spawn greed.
to bad it wasnt one more milisecond so you could have gotten 2.26.26.26
I played 2 weeks ago the kingdom crown classic (apk) before buying the real game, kingdom 2 crown on google play store... And i can say that i beat the 1st island 3-4hrs... 😂 (I started at 8pm - 12pm) Well i found out that i can go back to the first island after i survive at the second island. I destroyed the portal when i got back 😂

Bad Farms managemant + bad crystal usage. It could be fsater if those things would be improved.
1. Taking Crystal while U are running in a same direction to activate statue or to take a master - this saves time.
2. It is better to have 1st level farm if it is near the town - saves resources and production is the same.
3. It is also effective to have few 1st level farms near the town cnter even outside the kingdom borders.
st.2-3 would increse the income +50% with less money spent.
4. It is possible to save time if on 1st island before the tutorial run opposite sides and pick up chests while day timer is not active.
48:11 - WHY? U lost up to 3-4 crystals for that error! And U dnt use the balistas and the bread??!
