my 1.6 ecoboost have oil leak seems near brake vacuum pump or valve cover gasket. and back side may it be fuel pump cover. Thanks for your professional - How to!
Well if I showed you how to take them off you put them back on in the same direction except you use a roll lock disc or some kind of abrasive lighter grit to clean them off and reinstall them I have a lot of videos on this in the library that you're just going to have to search through
So in order to replace the high pressure fuel pump do you have to pull the fuel pump fuse and let it run out of fuel what I typically do is just take a rag and running around the fuel line and then just take the high pressure fuel line and disconnect it with the rag around it and that usually is sufficient enough And then it's too I think 2 t27 screws that hold it down The line that goes in between the high pressure fuel pump and the injector rail is supposed to get replaced I know guys have reused them but it's typically not a reusable part but people have been plenty successful reusing it it's up to you on that And then I take and 18 mm socket and breaker bar and spin the engine over until the tappet that sits underneath the fuel pump plunger is down at its lowest position And then I install a new pump with a new o-ring but if the o Ring is good I've seen guys reuse it as well I reach down underneath the fuel pump and pull that little tappet it cup out and just inspect it to make sure there's no scoring on the top where it meets the cam lobe and then I just put back The fuel line is just a spring-loaded old school style with the little collar thing that you shove down in there to disconnect it
Great video and a good tip on the heat gun thanks for all the INFORMATION its nice as a fellow tech!!
You are very welcome

Goodmorning do you have a video on how to re-install the metal pieces on the ecoboost value cover?

You have kids...
Those heat guns work great for marshmallows too.

You wouldn't happen to have a video on how to replace the high pressure fuel pump?
So in order to replace the high pressure fuel pump do you have to pull the fuel pump fuse and let it run out of fuel what I typically do is just take a rag and running around the fuel line and then just take the high pressure fuel line and disconnect it with the rag around it and that usually is sufficient enough
And then it's too I think 2 t27 screws that hold it down
The line that goes in between the high pressure fuel pump and the injector rail is supposed to get replaced I know guys have reused them but it's typically not a reusable part but people have been plenty successful reusing it it's up to you on that
And then I take and 18 mm socket and breaker bar and spin the engine over until the tappet that sits underneath the fuel pump plunger is down at its lowest position
And then I install a new pump with a new o-ring but if the o Ring is good I've seen guys reuse it as well
I reach down underneath the fuel pump and pull that little tappet it cup out and just inspect it to make sure there's no scoring on the top where it meets the cam lobe and then I just put back
The fuel line is just a spring-loaded old school style with the little collar thing that you shove down in there to disconnect it
@@FordBossMe thank you that seem like a lot of work to do
it's really not honestly
How many hours is this job
Be more specific
Can I use rtv to reinstall or do I need to get that specific sealer?
Use the anaerobic sealer stuff that supposed to go on there they have it at any of the parts stores
Thanks!
