I did my 2023 citroen C4 today. It takes a while. But it seems to work OK. At the moment I don't see much difference. I was hoping I could use android auto wirelessly but unfortunately I still have to plug in my phone. Great video. Thanks. 😊

Hello Michail, thank you for your video. I just bought a C5 aircross and the GPS only contains Germany. Do you know if i can update/ change the map to include full Europe? I download the software provided by Citroen but from there i don't have the option to select the map type. Thank you in advance.
Mine took HOURS because it stops at 50% and doesn't go from there. Why so?
it does not start for downloading. giving an error "check your connection....." what could be wrong?
Maybe the USB drive is to blame. Try another USB 3.0 drive 32GB, if possible. I used Kingston DataTraveler Exodia USB 3.2 32GB. Also, make sure to do the installation to the USB flash drive correctly.
@@Michail_Zotos but problem occurs before starting for downloading. it does not seem related with usb stick
Maybe your car is programmed so that only an official Citroën dealer can update it!? I don't know.

Αξίζει η αναβάθμιση ; γιατί 3 ώρες είναι πολλές. Ερώτηση, μπορεί να γίνει η αναβάθμιση αν κάνει ταξίδι το αυτοκίνητο ;
Δεν αξίζει, διότι δεν παρατήρησα καμία σημαντική αλλαγή. Ναι, η εγκατάσταση της ενημέρωσης μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί και κατά την διάρκεια ενός ταξιδιού αλλά δεν συνιστάται, διότι δεν λειτουργούν οι περισσότεροι αισθητήρες του αυτοκινήτου και δεν υπάρχει πρόσβαση στα πολυμέσα, τους χάρτες και τον κλιματισμό.
I had a problem with the USB reading in my car. Is there any advice to know? It's a fat32. Do I have just to plug it? Thanks for the video.
I used a USB 3.2 32GB flash drive for this update and it worked! Once you connect the USB drive to the car you will see the message: "No media content on the USB memory stick". After a couple of seconds you will be able to update your car's firmware! 😉

From where and how to install this citroen app on Windows??
You need to download MyCitroën app on your smartphone and connect it to your car. Then, the app will show you the available updates for your vehicle. You have to share the update link to your computer via email, so you can download the app on your computer. 🤞🏽

1 περίπου ώρα για την εγκατάσταση στη μονάδα USB και 3 περίπου ώρες για την εγκατάσταση στο αυτοκίνητο!
Σημείωση: Θα χρειαστεί να λειτουργεί ο κινητήρας κατά την διάρκεια της εγκατάστασης του λογισμικού στο αυτοκίνητο.

Press the "send via email" button and send it to your computer. Then, click the link on your computer to download the program.
@@Michail_Zotos I tried it before. I'm clicking send via email and the link part is blank. But i found executable file on another country's page. Thank you for help.

το ίδιο θέμα κι εγώ, μάλλον πρέπει να απευθυνθούμε σε εξουσιοδοτημενο συνεργείο να βγάλουμε άκρη...

Γεια! Δεν υπάρχει κάποια χρέωση για την επίσημη ενημέρωση. Η ενημέρωση μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί από έναν επίσημο αντιπρόσωπο Citroën ή από τον κάτοχο του οχήματος με την βοήθεια της εφαρμογής "MyCitroën"!

Δυστυχώς δεν μπορώ να σου στείλω κάποιον σύνδεσμο, διότι κάθε όχημα έχει τον δικό του, μοναδικό σύνδεσμο για την λήψη της ενημέρωσης. Σε αυτό το σημείο πρέπει να συνδέσεις το αυτοκίνητό σου με την εφαρμογή "MyCitroën". Η εφαρμογή θα σου δείξει εάν υπάρχει διαθέσιμη ενημέρωση για το αυτοκίνητό σου. Εάν υπάρχει, μπορείς να κοινοποιήσεις τον σύνδεσμο στον υπολογιστή σου μέσω email. Στην συνέχεια, ακολουθείς τα βήματα του βίντεο.

I would be extremely interested how this update works for owners in Australia. I have a 2016 Citroen C4 Cactus however even when inputting my vin the updates are all for overseas locations

There was no charge for mine. Download the update from the citroen link in the app, transfer it to the USB then plug it into the car. No charge for anything.
I think you only need to pay if you want to have traffic info and stuff like that included in the navigation system (I got a separate email from Citroen for that option when my free trial period ended after x years). But the standard cartography and software should be free.
Dude blurred the vin number but as soon as. he hit the confirm button on screen,he forgot to blur the vin number again 😂

Sitting at it right now in my C5 AIRCROSS … this is so old-school and SLOW … and keep getting error message after firmaware is installed and the EURO maps should be installed.
Definitely not a CITROËN again unless the arrive at over the air updates like TESLA!!!!
This is a flat out horrible experience. download crashes all the time (at least 10 times so far) and once I was actually able to finish download an error message "can not recognize file" popped up. Have been trying to get this done for two days now. Also looking at the video it seems the entire process is like something from the past.
This is laughable and after having had a Tesla (which was my business car) where updates go smooth over the air without an manual intervention I am SHOCKED how far behind Citroen is.
ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!
