The construction of supertall mixed-use projects is a complex and integrated activity which has been a significant challenge to construction management due to its wide interdisciplinary collaborations, branch system complexities, and strict quality requirements. Using the Shanghai Tower as a case study, this presentation introduces how BIM technology breaks down traditional barriers in the realms of design, construction, and operation to realistically exemplify information sharing and exchange.
