Where you buy the 18650 cells please. I need to replace one in a bluetooth speaker and I found it nowhere. In 4.2v.
Aliexpress Panasonic batteries is cheap and good quality. Don't buy 18650 cells witch have more than 4000 mah these are fake. Maximum capacity you can fit in 18650 size is About 3500 mah. :)

Anyone noticed that the switch was off when using the glue gun, I have also hard to see how 4 alkaline natys can provide enough current for it to work.

They're all good but the glue gun won't run for very long on AAs. I'd use D cells to get some decent run time. Yeah I know they're bigger and heavier. Pick your poison. More expensive operation, or bigger size. We're talking10 times the run time.

Those lifehacks are ok but please remove the label or write over the ridiculous markings of the 18650 cell because the nominal voltage of this battery is 3.6V and the maximum possible capacity is 2500mAh for this size (there are 3000mAh versions but those are really expensive) The battery that you use in your video has a capacity of around 500mAh
