  • Tameez Sunderji desperately needed a transplant to replace his failing kidney. Luckily, his sister Sherzana was a willing donor - and was on her way to UCSF to complete a fellowship in pediatric cardiology. Weeks before starting her fellowship, she donated her kidney to help restore her brother's health. Watch their story.

Tameez & his sister's story is dear and very special. I'm a donor and my feeling is that if I had 8 kidneys. I'd gladly donate 7. I sure look forward tho, for the day stem cells will do the task & risky, life-long medications won't be required anymore.
