That's a lot of pressure for the knee ! 😱 Usually, the leg must be well bent at this joint to protect it. And there are other ways to open the hips, ways less advanced, less dangerous, especially for a few secondes tutorial where no expert is here to correct the posture and therefore prevents injuries. The downward facing dog, high and low lunge, twisted monkey, .... would help and are waaaaayyy less dangerous.
If your knees hurts this exercice is not for you. It's not a good exercice to start with. I would suggest the puppy pose, downward facind dog, child pose, high and low lung, twisted monkey pose, even the warriors poses could help. I believe the classic sun salutation would be good. Well not all the poses will help opening your hips but it will warm up your body, which inderectly will help with your hips. Good yoga journey to you.
