This story update infuriated me especially as a force user where your character had so many chances to capture that random padawan and her brother but still somehow managed to spectacularly fail.All of this ruckus about the holocron could've been ended right there on Ruhnuk but for the sake of "plot convenience",your character simply had to let them get away.
it's not about the outcome, but the way it happens, the "mysterious holocron" could've protected her with a forcefield, and in a later cutscene that would be explained, but no, they decided that the MC and Shae faillure would be the only way for her to flee
Convenient moment to forget force pull. I could expect that from a Jedi, they're br@indead and always bashful/puritan/sheepish or too good to use the real and actually useful force techniques. But from a Sith? Unbelivable. God, you're f@cking p@thetic. An embarassment. Any Sith wouldn't hesitate to pull her the moment she dropped her guarda and turned tail to flee
Moments like this made my Commander question if Revan should've done a better job wiping out the Mando's during the Mandolorian Wars. All they do is cause more trouble than they're worth especially with someone like Shae in charge.
1:30-1:40 hoo boy. I've seen jank before, but this is one of the jankiest cutscenes I've ever seen in this game. Look how much the padawan model skips frames and switches positions. She does a twirl to DODGE FCKIN LASER, facing the broken window. Then, it cuts back to her facing your character and Shae (without her model actually moving, mind you), whose starting positions are somehow farther away and further apart than they initially were, and turns around to sprint towards the window. Then, Shae only takes two steps forward only to stop once again and shoot her again, while the player character for some reason holsters their weapon to lightly jog towards the padawan. *Then* another twirl from the padawan, and this time you can actually see the frames being skipped, but afterwards it cuts back to the padawan sprinting towards the window like the previous twirl didn't happen despite the explosion effect still being visible. Until finally, the padawan jumps into the void, never to be seen again because her model got deleted
Oh, this infuriates me so. HOW?! How does something like this happen? YOU are the freakin alliance commander who took down Vitiate, Revan, the emperor's actual children and the very finite empire. SHE is Mandalore the fckin avenger, arguably the second best bounty hunter in the galaxy, whose experience even eclipses yours! THAT is a mere padawan, the kind we've been stomping on ever since the Black talon flashpoint. So HOW does a mere padawan manage to get away from the two most dangerous people in the galaxy? WHY does your player character sit around, doing nothing to capture the padawan, and twiddling their thumbs while Shae throws a mere couple of pot shots? AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN "she got away" not even five seconds she jumped out a window? You have a jetpack, rope launchers and compressed carbonite shooters. AFTER HER!
for all those who are disappointed by the clumsiness and apathy of the force user MC, I may have a motive for this: after defeating many very strong opponents, he becomes so powerful that he doesn't care about missed opportunities, because every single moment is an opportunity for him. so he looks more like a hunter who decided to play with his prey a little more, because for MC it doesn't make much difference, just a little entertainment.

I wonder if they're going to bring old graphics up to par with new ones. You can see every pore on sa'har's face but all the player character models look like plastic. Same issue with the clothes too
I don't understand why she is so important all of a sudden. Like she appeared in the cinematic and shit. Sahar is just some random ahh padawan, like why. I honestly also don't like the Mandalorian story parts of SWTOR. We need a new cool villain. We've had Malgus, Vitiate and Revan. We need something new, someone who's an actual threat to the Commander and is on par with the Commander in power. Vitiate carried the story, the other parts of the expansions are very mid. Jadus could be a cool villain if he returns.

Every time I see these low budget completely shit cutscenes from TOR I think about how gorgeous KOTOR 3 could’ve been with a 1/4th of the effort from people who actually cared. It pains my very soul! And the actual cinematics are better than the entire sequel trilogy!! Such a waste of potential.
