Black Ops was all about the unofficial CIA projects and Black Operations that were rampant at the time. Honestly how they tread the line of fact and fiction just made the story all the more intriguing.
They're still doing them. Just because they haven't been leaked yet doesn't mean they're not happening. MK Ultra, Operation Northwind; bunch of stuff we didn't know about at the time that got released afterwards.
It's crazy how BlackOps I and II gameplay is very similar to real life missions of that time, using real names at times even...you're basically playing out someone's real life, and someone is who under MK Ultra (Mason)!
One theory I have in Black Ops. During the meeting with JFK Mason was programmed by Dragovich to shoot JFK, but we know Reznov's brainwashing Mason to kill Dragovich. So my theory is: when Mason saw JFK in the room, Dragovich's programming began to activate and prompt the pistol drawing scene, however, it failed the moment JFK mentioned Dragovich's name. Both brainwash conflicted in that very second. But somehow Reznov's programming persisted in Mason.
I absolutely LOVE your style of content, and it's clear just how much effort you put in to this and your other videos. I hope you get more exposure because you are criminally underrated! Fantastic video - BO1 was my fav COD so I really enjoyed this one.
When I played through it for the first time this year I was amazed at how good the pieces of the puzzle were put together as I progressed through the campaign, it's absolutely worth replaying over and over again.
This was the first call of duty I got as a kid *on the wii too lol* The part with JFK and mason fighting the urge to kill him was so fascinating because I had zero idea what anything meant because I wasn’t shooting 😂
i played bo1 when i was rather young and understood jack shit from the game it wasn’t until bo2 that i replayed it and gained a decent understanding of the game itself and then years later i found myself doing another play through and then knowing the historical background made the game 10X better for me, same goes to bo2
You're killing it with these vids man from concept to production value to topic to humor you've got it all figured out. I see half a million subs for you AT LEAST in the future. Keep it up!

This was probably the only Cod I really enjoyed the story of. When I realized a lot of the things happening were flashbacks fueled by PTSD it actually really hit deep.
I love when cod interwheaves real history with their story. it really makes you go WTF when you look up the reall life counterpart and find out they exagerated less than you think
I remember playing this while in high school, loved the story and the multiplayer/zombies mode had me pulling all nighters with friends more times than i like to admit
I miss being bad and dying on round 5 on BO1 zombies, something about the mystery of what was happening in the maps, always wondering what was behind that next door, always wondering what new crazy weapon was in the box, and coming to realization on what those colorful soda machines with the catchy jingles actually did. Those where the times where zombies was mysterious and honestly...Kind of scary, something about sitting in that main menu strapped to that chair, watching the room go red as you hear the zombies theme with banging on the window where Hudson was once looking down upon you at, and seeing TV screens showing where there was zombie outbreaks around the world and seeing people being experimented on, it was a full blown nightmare...A nightmare that I wish I could have again.
Bro i remember the game on my old PC was keep crashing in first mission over and over again, I have to ask my father to fix that shit poor man every night he came from work instead of going bed he helps me to open and make the game correctly. Good old days
I randomly stumbled upon your channel a month ago, and I'm so glad I did! I love how creative your videos are and all of your live action shots taking place all in your apartment lol Keep doing that voodoo, you do, so very well!
