So where are you on this? Do you not like Dukes at all. Did you not like any of the albums during his initial run or did you like them and just prefer Steve? Or are you Steve Zetro or go home?
@nightmarecabin8933 The music was fine, just don't like Duke's voice. To much of the Pantera tough guy attitude. In my opinion, Zetro represents the metal head vibe...he oozes metal...his voice matches the music. As for Zetro or go home... absolutely. Again, my preference. I've seen Exodus since the Pleasures of the Flesh. Zetro just is the voice of Exodus. Again, thanks for the video and reply. For those who prefer Duke, good on them. On my part, I'm pretty bummed about it.
@@johnmontoya2398 I totally get you. I jumped on board with Shovel Headed Kill Machine and that album was more in line with what I was listening to at the time but if you saw them back in the day I completely sympathise. I've seen bands from the beginning and watched a change and later fans don't get what I originally saw. So what's your opinion on Paul Baloff?
@@nightmarecabin8933 I did not like him at first...kind of like Paul vs Dickinson. I learned to appreciate both Paul's later on... especially for their eras. Still Prefer Zetro. He just took it to that level for me.
My guess is that this has been on the cards for some time and all parties wanted a smooth transition to the next era of Exodus. If there's anything more to it then no doubt it will all come out in due course. Sad to see Zetro go, happy that Dukes is his replacement.
Zetro was great for old school, but he has VERY poor technique for their more modern albums beginning with Tempo Of The Damned. He has no clue how to use his false chord etc, he just screams. Rob is amazing at more harsher vocals, and the albums with him were great. Him returning makes me hope for a more modern, heavier Exodus again
Yeah, I think Rob is better suited for the music Gary writes NOW. Zetro's place in Metal will always be remembered forever with those classic Exodus albums and writing lyrics for Testament. Steve always lands on his feet though so no doubt he'll be back.
Fuck no brother... Zetro is the man...his the voice of Exodus. Thanks for the video.

I'm certainly more excited for the new album.
Hope Exodus can bring more savage riffs for Dukes to annihilate. The more aggressive the better.
Hellyeah!
Steve’s voice is not my bag especially the last ones. Rob takes them to another level imo.
Yeah he's always divided opinion, I got used to him with time. Actually my favourite stuff with Zetro is Tenet.
