@@TheNonHiddenSingularity Every character has their unique movement and that makes perfect sense. The characters are built on different lore, physics, genders, etc. So one character having a better backdash or sidestep than another character is perfectly fine but the thing is the overall kit of the characters should be well balanced out to make up for its flaws or strengths. Better movement>lesser strength, more strength>slower backdash(just an example). This is what makes Tekken complex and gives depth to the game. Keep in mind the state we are in right now is vanilla Tekken 8. Tekken 7 for example also had this problem where the vanilla version was far from a well round balanced game, plus the fact that the game got released on the arcade first and it took 1-2 years to get released on console which affected the accessibility of the game. For Tekken 8 that is not the case, the vanilla version is accessible to everyone from the get go and that's a good thing because this means the developers get way more response on how to balance the game in a positive direction from an earlier stage in its lifespan. Which is awesome and as long as we as a community communicate about it, the developers can use the feedback to make Tekken 8 even more successful than Tekken 7.
There is no way they will, they are trying to avoiding situations where people can turtle and use movement. I wish they buffed backdash but it does not see like their style at all
Did they mentioned ragearts being only -15 on block at any point? ...i hope so... it can be kinda frustrating for certain characters (which i luckily dont play just in case) like steve, zafina, raven, etc. that cannot launch those after blocking, even worse considering how strong ragearts are now and sometimes people can activate rage and then get like half life gauge back while rage remains activated due to the recoverable health mechanic (which is ok for me i mean the recoverable health mechanic of course, i dont like rage mechanic at all but lets face it they wont remove that from the game) i think thats kinda dumb.
@@Nathan-zd8ew Rage activates at 25% health does it not, at least as far I can look up. Not every character has something that'll do 45 damage from a 15f punish to kill. I don't like how rage art is such a distressing option but the threat of it coming out makes it more of a comeback factor than the actual move itself imo. But tbh -15 seems fine, the characters who cannot launch it seem to have that by design. I think it speaks more to those characters specific weaknesses than RA, but I won't complain if it goes to -18 lol.
