It's certainly in the cards! I hope to build the Porsche sometime this week and we will see if it had the space for the motors. Gotta put the drive motor way in the back to keep with the classic Porsche design.
How would I find the ratio for the speeds of the drive wheels if I used a drive system like your mustang mod. Couldn't you have used the differential included in the set?
Thanks, glad you like it! If you are looking for a cool LEGO set, I definitely recommend the Mustang (I made a video with my thoughts here): ua-cam.com/video/IlU-Jn452cU/v-deo.html
@@SportingCubed Thanks! That was definitely the hardest part (especially in the back). It was all about finding pieces I could take out to make room for the motors without changing the looks.
Tell me about a time where you used MINDSTORMS to motorize a LEGO set!
I would love to motorize my kit, but I have an EV3 its too big.
@@Abinav.P Never say never! It's not impossible, just a good challenge if you are up for it!
I’m surprised you’re still alive
@Commenter I hope you can soon!
@@vizonex4316 lmao why would I not be?
I challenge you to install the mind storms into the 42113 V-22 Bell Osprey
yes
Sounds like a great challenge!
@@Builderdude35 Unfortunately they pulled it off the market because it references warfare.
You made a great "MindStang"! Are you planning on "motorizing" that Lego Creator Porsche set that you just got a few days ago? :)

Amazing Video! Do make the new Porsche kit motorized it would be amazing! Waiting for the Review!!
Thanks! Porsche review is going to come out next Monday, so stay tuned. Might consider motorizing it seeing how much people like this one!
One time I used the EV3 system to make the LEGO technic arocs be fully automated
Wow,
Why I doubt in your skills to fit it inside :))
Once I set my mind to it, I had to make it happen. Thanks for believing in me! :D
I just got inventor
Sweet! What do you plan to build first?
The same thing
I will do something similar with my technic LandRover !
THat sounds super cool! Good luck and let me know how it turns out!
Great job! It only adds about $300 + to the cost of the Mustang, but hey…
I justify it by telling myself it's still a more affordable alternative to the real thing...
@@Builderdude35 In the very distant past, I owned a 1965 Mustang, Poppy Red color, 4 on the floor. $2200 cost!
@@bobcubsfan that's super duper cool, I love those cars. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong decade lol. What engine did you have?
@@Builderdude35 289. I Met Carol Shelby once.

Nice mod just like always 👍 If i had the mustang set I would try it!

@@Builderdude35 Thank you, but I usually don't buy any sets other than technic.
@@korisilivri A builder of culture I see!
@@Builderdude35 haha thanks!
You're welcome! Yeah this was my first non-Technic set in a very long time too.
This looks so cool!
Thank you! What's your favorite part about the build?
I really like how you put the motors in without changing much of the physical appearance of the Mustang.
