Mobile CAssava Processing Innovation (MOCAPI) in Nigeria

The MOCAPI project is an innovation partnership involving public and private partners and a research institute formed by GIZ- Green Innovation Centre for the Agriculture and Food Sector - Nigeria (GIAE), Bosch and the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO).
The aim of the partnership is to create access to modern technologies for cassava processing into gari with an attractive packaging without the need to invest in expensive processing equipment. Subsequently, women cooperatives and micro enterprises will be able to access more formal markets, achieve better prices and ultimately increase their income.
