I still keep using the MJUC. Mk I has such an intense colour and low end, even when the needle barely moves. ❤

Anyway, that look behind function is so damn good. I use it with the graphical analyzer part of a SIR StandardClip placed after the plugin to see how much transients get through while slamming the compressor really hard. Nice concept, more compressor plugin should have it.

Is look forward/behind like feedback feedforward?
Kind of….look ahead limiters found only in digital realm delay the audio so they can literally’Look ahead’ and react immediately to transients.
@@StudioLife101 They actually have hardware Limiters that delay the signal for a lookahead also, they label them as Mastering Grade Limiters.

How does this compare to the UAD version?
Never used the UAD one….not a fan of hardware hosted plugs…(or subscriptions)

Late to this party fellas but yikes. This is a serious compressor indeed. Almost feels like an actual instrument if you know what I mean. Justified.
I think I'll stick to my U-he's Presswerk, The Pulsar Mu when pushed hard crumbles.
