    Another great video! I never thought about using bacon ends before. That is for that.

      Thanks Greg! I usually use pork back fat with most sausage making but since this is breakfast sausage the bacon ends were perfect for the flavor profile. It's delicious!

    Used this recipe today, it turned out really good. We made spaghetti with meat sauce and the final product and it was awesome. Loved the idea of using the bacon pieces, I did about 2/3 hog 1/3 fat and it was really good. Thanks for the helpful post!

    I've always been curious how breakfast sausage is made, as I typically just send my carcass to a processor. This does not look hard! Thanks, will try!

      I butchered my own deer for the first time this past year. Was not as difficult as I thought. Watched a bunch of channels here and other UA-camrs.

      That’s awesome to hear! It really is far easier than what people assume. I also enjoy the process as I have complete control of what stays and what gets tossed. I know when I serve my venison, it has been handled correctly all the way from field to table.

    I've watched a lot of wild hog cooking videos, this video is by far the best for breakfast sausage making. Simple ingredients, no wild instructions or back stories, just straight to the point. 11/10.

      Thank you so much, Nick! I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to leave the kind words. I always try and focus on getting right to the point and sharing my knowledge with little fluff and filler. Thanks again and don’t be a stranger!

      That’s awesome to hear! Congratulation on your first hog! I have a carnitas recipe for wild pig as well on the channel. Let me know if you get around to it, but either way thanks for leaving the comment!

    I have 4 pounds of wild boar. Would you suggest to double the seasonings?

    • @outdoorindoortexan
      @outdoorindoortexan  7 місяців тому +2

      Great question, Brandon. I’d double it at first and pay close attention to how your tester patty tastes, then decide to add more if it’s not enough flavor to your liking. Thanks for watching!
