Grew up learning how to butcher and process our deer ourselves. This video shows how teaching kids these life skills is a wonderful thing to do. More of this; less socialism media and tell a vision watching. Great for the mind and body. Keep up the great work.

If you had the canning jars, you could fry the sausage and put it in the jars. Then you pour some of the grease over it and seal up. You can store it in a cool dark place and keep it for up to two years.

i see 1 or 2 video references to your daughter but i notice that neither she or your wife appear in videos. i am well aware that our little place here in South Carolina would not be successful without the skills my wife has. if they don't appear in your videos for privacy reasons i understand that. but it might encourage others to see how the females provide for the homestead's success. thank you for educational and entertaining videos. keep it up

Thanks so much for such a speedy reply. Not too long ago we bought a grinder very similar, if not identical, to yours…and the one you link to in your description. There seems to be several brand names being put on that same machine. We’ve watched several YT videos demonstrating the grinders. As with yours everyone seems to like them. On our first use grinding maybe 25 or 30 lb of beef (first and second pass) the electric motor got too hot to hold your hand on it. We were able to return it for a refund. Maybe we just happened to get a dud the first time trying. Have you had any such experiences? Or know of others? Thanks again for your help 😊

Do you lube the grinder before you turn it on? If not I would highly suggest it. Also run a piece of fat through first, it will help keep things lubed for when you aren't pushing meat through. Metal on metal isn't good. Have you seen scaring on the grinder plate? That metal went into your food :S
