Never seen the anniversary edition in a two tone color. I have always seen a solid red. Very nice. Did come with manual transmission or was that converted too?
You can do this swap in CA. As long as the motor is the same year or newer as the body it’s going into, and that body is 1997 or older it can legally be swapped and become smog exempt. (There IS a GVWR cutoff that would then require it to be CARB compliant, so stay under that and you should be good.)
BTW, that's not a Powerstroke. That is a naturally aspirated 7.3 IDI or Indirect Injection diesel engine that just happens to be the same size as the Powerstroke in cubic displacement.
Dummies at Ford should call these guys for advice... perhaps an F-Series manual option hooked to a PowerStroke that doesn't sound neutered and 100 feet away!?!
Dakota Graham I honestly don’t know, I’ve never done this swap. I have an 88 bronco and would like to put a 7.3 in it, but that’s about a 10k swap if you do it good. If I did swap it out I would probably put a Dana 60 in the front and rear just for the strength. I don’t know if a ttb front end could support the weight of a diesel.
Dakota Graham no. Like B said, the weight of the powerstrokes/cummins motors require a heavier driveline. Do the Dana 60 swap. I have only seen full swap videos of 12 valve Cummins motors in the old Broncos and they always swap to Dana 60s
It looked like the non turbo IDI under the hood so they probably just found an old f250 around the same year and swapped the harnesses and dash over when they did the swap
Engine swap into the bronco using F250 dash and wiring harness. Almost everything was plug and play. Only had to splice a couple wires. Cruise, speedo, and AC all worked!
Hey thanks for the reply, I forgot to ask... was the donor F250 the same year? Seriously, super sweet rig. This is what I think of when I think "done right".
For those of you that dont know that's a 7.3l idi
Goes to show that you don't need a degree to be an automotive genius... 100% A+ this truck is perfect! 👍😎
bad ass rig! especially with the five speed! awesome! a locker front and rear and that thing will be pulling out big trucks!!!!
Runs like a beauty it is! ❤
Beautiful Anniversary, very good shape. I got a 91 Eddie Bauer

It was painted white. door jambs and engine bay are red
One word... In-cred-ible!
Yeahhhh that's awesome! Beautiful truck by the way.
Great Truck!
Only Diesel 👍👍🍀
Stunning truck
Love this
What did you do to the suspension to hold that beast?
I'd love to own that!
Love to powerstroke swap a 78-79 Bronco. With 5 speed & 4w disc brakes. (:
the 7.3 sounds mean as fuck in this bronco
Wish I didn't live in Commiefornia I would do this swap in a heartbeat.....

Easy conversion if you have a pickup of the same year 👍
I have a '91 f-150 4x4 that i would like to do that to. Where can i get info on this?
what size tires are you running. i have a 91 f150 that i want stanced like yours. very nice
Awesome Bronco! Any chance of a more detailed video ? specs, gearing .etc... Thanks
nice work. Bronco looks like mine. Do you have any details on the build? What sort of mileage do you get? Are you pretty happy with it?
I’ve got a 1991 ford bronco xlt w a 352 Windsor and 4 wheel drive, and I want to diesel swap it so bad.
351*

Non turbo ?
What's your mpg. And how happy are you with it after driving it awhile.
I wanna put an idi in my ranger but idk yet
:/ no turbo? what did you have to change out of the 91 to make the 7.3 fit? any modification to the firewall or anything like that?
Jeff B u can put a 97 7.3 with the turbo in one. And I don’t believe there’s any firewall modification
Can you still use stock ttb?

Pretty clean bronco does it have any rust?
Why wasn’t this a factory option?? The sales would have been SO much higher if it were
Hows the front end holding up after all this time?
howdy! Did you stick the engine in the bronco, or drop the bronco body on an F350? Super slick work man!
