- On our recent trip to Florence, Italy we spent time exploring the amazing Italian food scene. One of the best ways to experience a country and culture is through the food / street food. Italy has some of the best food the world. The central market www.mercatocentrale.it/en/merc... is one of the best places to experience the best Italian food in Florence. Here you can sample a large variety of what Italian food has to offer.
These are some of the food featured in this video:
-Cafe or coffee: Best way to start the day in Italy is to have a coffee or espresso at one of the local cafes. Meet the locals and enjoy the best coffee at great prices.

It’s difficult to find a restaurant that serves breakfast.
yes...those 'serviette'...or 'napkins'...as we call them in The States...are super hard....and i often scratched up my mouth that way. in general, paper products are not as super soft as in Asia or The States--two places i know pretty well--so i was guessing that it was either a cost measure or an environmental measure. what's your take?
No idea. I’m guessing just cultural differences.
Those napkins are not made for cleaning yourself, but they're made in order to avoid that you get dirty when you eat your pastry and at the same time to avoid that the napkin sticks to the pastry, that's why they're hard.

You don't eat very traditional florence dish
