I finally got the old girl back to operational condition, but there were a lot of tedious issues left to encounter. Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy it!
I like the fact that you only speak when necessary. So many similar channels are filled with verbose individuals who have very little to say. Plus I love your own music!
I pulled the final drives off of my B last week. I had a mouse nest in one side and a wasp nest in the other as well. I bolted my final drives back on upside down. Now I'm modifying the front axel. Center pivot on my front axel is 9" from the floor. She's a low rider now. Like crawling down into a go cart.
My personal opinion is this; I use non-detergent oil in my engines without traditional oil filters, and modern/detergent oil in the ones with oil filters.

Thanks! I did not use my own music for this video but will definitely slip some in for the future…

Yes, all that open space in the rear axle area perfect for little creatures. Not the best design I'd say, but wonderful tractors!
Never seen a B that started so easy, I've actually bought torque tubes to install on starterless B's to have elec start.
Another great video
Looks good.
Thanks my friend.
Those final drives are always messy changing out the oil.
Zinc oil additive to protect cam lobes? If the cam was not new at rebuild, it should be ok as the metal would have previously absorbed zinc from oil.
You’ve got to show us the sickle bar in operation, please!
I haven't seen Allie and America lately, I hope they are still with you and are doing fine!
Thanks for asking. 🐶🐶 They are almost 13 years old but are hanging in there! ❤️
You can use oil with a zinc additive in that engine. Your cam and lifters will thank you.
Good idea. Thanks.

If you remove the trans side cover, a can of brake clean will do miraculous work, immediately.
Do those engines use the none-Detergent Oil, Like the Older John Deere's?
