Florida man is a classic internet meme in which article use the title scheme when talking about Floridian citizen partaking in illegal and often absurd stunts. And in today's video, I'll be going over some of the most bizarre cases of the phenomenon. If you haven't noticed, the reason I haven't uploaded last week is because I put a full week into editing 16 minutes of pure editing bliss. With that being said, I've been editing this thing for 9 days straight and I'm very tired now...

One of the main reasons FL Man became a meme is that Florida is one of the only states that actually have pro-free press laws when it comes to arrests a trials.
I have my own Florida man story: So one time I was driving up route one on vacation from key west, There was some traffic while going up the keys. At one point this one Florida man turned into a side road to clear some of the traffic but he kept going at the highway speed so he was speeding, The thing is there was a police man checking for someone to do that exact thing. He then started to get chased by the police car and tried to escape into 5MPH traffic thinking that would work. Everyone in traffic just let the police have a open spot and he got pulled over very quickly.
If it was a headline I would make it:
Florida Man tries to run from police into traffic, fails horribly.

gotta love the fact that an alligator was considered as a "deadly weapon".
I’ve seen an alligator rip the fender off a truck in half a second flat, it is absolutely a deadly weapon.
It's also important to understand that Florida has one of the most open records request laws that allow many of these stories to be discovered. There's more avaliabale documents for journalists to cover. I doubt that Florida is any crazier than other highly populated states in warm environments.

A large part of the Florida Man phenomena is that the poor addicted and homeless living in colder northern climes at some point think life would be better in Florida and migrate down. The "If you're broke at least be warm" idea also appeals to others down and out

We all understand that it’s hot and humid and when it’s as hot and humid as it gets down here some times ya just don’t think straight. At any given moment any one of us has the potential to make a series of poor choices and end up on the news and ultimately become “Florida man”. Florida man lives in the hearts of every single man down here and it’s a life long battle as a Florida man to suppress these intrusive thoughts and insatiable appetites for chaos.

I first found t3rr0r’s channel when he had much less subscribers, the first video of his I’ve watched is Stupid Minecraft ripoffs. And it’s great to know that his channel is growing, and he is making better and better content. One thing I’ve never notice anyone talk about is his editing style. I can’t describe it, but it’s really nice. And is a bit different than a lot of other video essays.
