Colbert to Heuston Station Train Ride | Irish Rail | Ireland

Irish Rail is Ireland's main commuter train to cross from different counties. It operates 7 days a week from morning until night. Rather than the usual walking tour i do, why not try also to record ambient sound and video when taking train ride.
Colbert Station is situated in Limerick City and Heuston Station is in Dublin City. The ride can last more than 2 hours or even longer depending on the time of the day due to train changes needed.
Join me in this video to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
You can enjoy the video and soundscape while studying, reading books, daydreaming or just wondering in any time of the day. Its a relaxing sound for someone like me who enjoy long rides and quiet times.

Coming home to Ireland from the U.K. (where the U.K. trains are a disaster due to being privatised) it is a joy to hear announcements in my native Irish Gaelic as well as in English (even though I don’t speak Irish very well) - I’ve lived in Manchester 23 years and I come home on SailRail via Chester, Crewe or Lladnuo and Holyhead to Dublin on Irish Ferries - long distance Irish Rail services are most pleasant in standard class trains in Ireland, however I would be prepared to pay extra for first class where offered - it remains to be seen whether or not the high speed rail tunnel under the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin will ever be built, given the abject failure of HS2 - I’d love to see the LUAS being extended to the Irish Ferries and Stena Terminals via Dublin Docklands station, which would be a massive improvement

Diesel engine is quieter than an electric .
