Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money as i can see NIO hasn't performed well in over 3 years.?
Exactly! I was managing my own portfolio but faced big losses in 2022, so I sought help from a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $600k portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and REITs, I achieved an average annual gain of 38%.
I’m careful about giving specific advice since everyone’s situation is different. You might want to consider an independent financial advisor like Melissa Elise Robinson. I’ve worked with her for two years and highly recommend her. See if she fits your needs.
As a newbie about to invest, you must have these four things in mind 1. Have a long term mindset. 2. Be willing to take risk. 3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending. 4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advise
Acquiring stocks is simple, but selecting the right ones without a proven strategy is daunting. With a $160K portfolio, I struggle with identifying optimal entry and exit points. Any advice would be invaluable.
Opting for an inves-tment advisr is currently the optimal approach for navigating the stock market, particularly for those nearing retirement. I've been consulting with a coach for a while, and my portfolio has surged by 85% since 2022
Who is the coach that provides guidance for you? I urgently require assistance; my stock portfolio is stagnating, and I need investment advice for retirement.
I honestly don't understand why you're discussing these dubious schemes. There are plenty of options like Eledator and similar ones that are fast and profitable.
Thanks for the advice! I'm new to financial planning and wasn't sure where to start. Any tips on finding a reliable financial adviser or resource to guide beginners?

I did the same last week ... bought a 1,000 shares. Will purchase more if I see certain indicators justifying further investment in NIO. As of now I figured a $4,000 investment is fairly low risk for me.
Your first two points are accurate, but the last two points are not realistic anytime soon. Gas cars and gas stations are going to be around for many more years to come. First of all, the electric grids in the US are ancient and cannot possibly handle every person in America switching to EVs. California can barely handle the stress of AC in the summer. Second, while politicians love to talk about a green future, when push comes to shove I am doubtful that many of them will actually do what they say once the lobbyists from oil companies threaten to pull funding from their campaigns. Money talks in DC and oil companies have lots of cash to sway legislative decisions.
@ironchefog2009 this is SUCH a good point to bring up. The cost to overhaul the entire U.S. grid, mixed with the campaign funding of oil companies, and the greedy i-must-get-elected politicians of America...I don't see has powered vehicles and that beast of American attitudes of money n power changing ANY time soon. ANNNNNYYYY time soon. AAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNYYYYYYYY time soon!

Why NiO? Americans don’t support Chinese companies is one major reason to get out. Look at JD, BABA,BIDU, Tencent. Excellent Chinese tech companies with low PE’s. Why not popular volume growth? Because many American fund managers are not adding Chinese companies in their fund portfolios. Why? Political reasons and that is like supporting a communist country company. I follow this market closely. Nio makes great cars with unique technology. The big problem is that Nio has never reached high enough volume to make a profit. Nio Sales volume has dropped the last two years. Without a plan to reach profitability, I don't see how this company survives. China has dozens of car companies that produce EVs in low volumes. The Chinese government has reportedly decided to stop supporting these low volume EV car companies to allow the stronger companies to survive. This is a very risky investment.

Great video! I really do have a quick question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, How would you recommend we enter the market? I am looking study some traders and copy their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. Whats your take on this approach?
I tried copy trading, just when I started investing last Christmas. Had a poor experience, the guy I copied made many small trades, slowly loosing money. What good came out of it was that it gave me an insight into how the market really works. Make sure you do your homework!
Focus on long term investments in property, stocks, and bonds. Avoid copying, daytrading and 'chart astrology'. Diversify across different geographies, industries, and value chain stages - to reduce your risk. You can do this with ETFs, or by selecting different stocks yourself. This is the best way to invest for more than 90% of people
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3 years, I would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a good approach. Just keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. Make sure you know who you are dealing with before copying them. My two cents. Goodluck!
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.
I don’t see people will use only electric vehicles, they will be a long period maybe 15 years where both hybrid cars and electric cars will become 90% of the cars. Still the growth of ev going higher every year!

No matter how good a car a company has, if it cannot scale, it will hurt the stock price. LCID and RIVN have amazing cars, but are remotely profitable.
Be careful out there. If you have couple millions, 10,000 is nothing for you, you don’t even notice if stock goes belly up. If you have 10,000-20,000, that’s all you have… I bought NIO for around $8, thinking it may drop a little but it will eventually go up to at least $12 in short time. It’s $4 today. Should have, would have, could have. It could go to $1 tomorrow too… Nobody else’s but my fault. I hope it will go to $10-$20, but hope is not a strategy. I’m not selling, too late, so I’m just stuck for who knows how long…
Its current price $3.80 is not cheap though. Buying it directly has risk. Long it by selling its weekly OTM put? I don't want to do that at $3.50... How about $3 by 4/26 to gain 1 or 2 cents,,, option like this cannot be closed due to close it would cost at least 1 cent.. so option writer has to wait it to expire, lack of flexibility...
There are only two options for NIO: They go bankrupt or they will dominate. Each month they sell 15K car, they not just selling cars, but around 10K BaaS subscriptions...
Be careful Henry, THE REASON PEOPLE ARE DUMPING ELECTRIC VECHICALES IS BECAUSE LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES SUCH BAD. How bad, 1)I would rather swim in a nuclear waste pool then be an where near lithium-ion battery waste (it is worse the microchip production waste products ITS A HORROR). 2) lithium batteries are dangerous and can short and explode for no reason the risk is low, but the more batteries you add the bigger the risk, and a car needs a lot of batteries. 3) The life time of a car battery is not very good, and that assumes it is not abused. 4) Mining lithium is worse then mining coal or nuclear fuel. 5)Lithium-ion batteries are the only viable option for cars right now, its the best. Now we have ONE ELON MUSK, who is well aware of this and is working on something to replace lithium-ion. I think he is having a hard time.
Acquiring stocks could appear simple, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan can be very difficult. My main barrier to growing my $210K portfolio, which I've been working on for a while, is the absence of well-defined entry and exit plans. Any guidance on this would be highly valued.

You can not bet on a stock because you think people will be forced to drive EV in the future unless it's a 30+ years bet. Trust me, EV will be a thing of the past in the future.
The biggest problem I see that will keep gas in the market is that gasoline is the waste product from the oil industry. What is produced as waste needs an outlet to get rid of, and what better a way than to use it as a fuel. I don't see gasoline going away any time soon however much certain groups might want it to happen. Perhaps if it can be recycled into something else as useful, then maybe it will become a different thing entirely.
Lucid and rivian are big examples that show that nothing is guaranteed anymore with Evs . And the hit is harder in the ev market to a level that a lot of new rivals might not survive . I lost lot of cash with Nio . And lesson learned not to buy any Chinese stock moving forward .

I have no idea who you are, but your UA-cam channel popped up on my UA-cam feed. Invest in Nio? You have got to be kidding me. It must be a joke.
“With how laws are and many other reasons…” thank you for the robust explanation.
I don’t even think GS would hire this guy to mop the floors.
This guy was an intern at GS. He had no access to traders or anything like that. He just did risk management research. He uses the Ex-GS to build credibility and sell his courses. Sales 101
@thanasballabani1026 He can't be any less qualified than Money Making Mitch
I think I want to try out a financial advisor, but the amount of information on the internet is overwhelming. Could recommend any good one(s)?.
I don’t see people will use only electric vehicles, they will be a long period maybe 15 years where both hybrid cars and electric cars will become 90% of the cars. Still the growth of ev going higher every year!
Nio cars look super sharp but the stock is garbage right now. Tsla dumping doesn't help. Good luck I hope you're right.
Best ev and battery swap
Li probably better choice ? They are profitable 🙏😊 , have both
Thanks Henry. Are you still into OTLY?
Hey Henry can you do a video on how you research a stock before you get in. Like the statistics of it (e.g. Price to earnings ratio) or is it in your discord?
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Elizabeth Wesley.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, i'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states, she is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
she's mostly on Telegrams, with the user name.
Onvo L60 is so beautifull also
Henry... you still like NIO here at $3.70s. Are you still in it are having second thoughts
No matter how good a car a company has, if it cannot scale, it will hurt the stock price. LCID and RIVN have amazing cars, but are remotely profitable.
Be careful. I bought 33500 shares and lost 2.7 million. Good luck.
2.7M it’s a big chunk, so far I’m down myself 92k.
Robert,
How did you have so much capital to begin with? What do you do for work?
Uber 😂
92k is believable. 2.7M is lies. Even if you paid the all time high of like $66 per share x 33500 it’s short of 2.7M.
I’m a welder born to a good family. Early inheritance.
u called this out way before anyone else did. Thank u so much!!!!!
I’m not selling, too late, so I’m just stuck for who knows how long…
Appreciate your conviction- but what's your take on hydrogen fueled engines as a future competitor to EV's ???
Cash value you're referring to, is just diluted shares with a burn equivalent of $millions per month!
BTW, buy long term call option on nio is very risky. The symbol could varnish in long term. If play it, only play it at short term, earn and run away.
Do LEAPS on it?
I’m always buying more shares. Nio has big advantage over others.
Hope your investment brings you gains
Late MAY is next Cycle LOW...
BUT market may not reward Unprofitable Companies and those that grow less the 5% YIELD on Savings Accounts
Evidently, you don't know anything about EVs.
I didn't read your comment because its very long.
Are you beating the market YTD?
I put $200k into it - not going well so far lol
Acquiring stocks could appear simple, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan can be very difficult. My main barrier to growing my $210K portfolio, which I've been working on for a while, is the absence of well-defined entry and exit plans. Any guidance on this would be highly valued.
Don't you have to consider how much debt they have when you see a stock trading at its cash value?
Think if Donald Trump becomes the next US president. Do you really think he would gladly let Nio to compete against Tesla?
With Trump back to cheap and efficient gasoline car. No more democrats to impose you what to drive.
Anyway, it is good to have positive thinking when trading.
He svre will. . .
I was looking for this comment .. DJT wants to drill and get rid of a lot of those EV bills, so I'm curious what's going to happen next...
I bought FSR, Chargepoint and some others and lost it all
Great Call! and the Apple mention as well.. Still don t know why you would trust 2 Mill to Robinhood... lol but hey I dont have 2 Mill so .. Thank you for the great info
Aren't they also doing battery swaps so you don't have to wait for a charge
It’s funny this company is way better now than it was when it was $67 a share . The cars they have are 1000 times better. And their infrastructure built out is insane
Well yeah it was during the pump and dump era.
Only hybrid are selling not electric cars.
You sound like you live in usa cause everywhere else on earth it’s not
Americans think the world revolves around them
Nio, i love everything about it, but unfortunately next stop ---- dilution
Shell BP has companies, have enough money to convert to or develop their own electrical charging stations at anytime...
Where is the 20 dollars
My preferred stock is #NVDA at my Trade The Pool stock prop account.
Tesla just cut prices again by $2000. inventory high
Nope. As an American, I will be supporting and buying from an American company. Go Tesla!! Go America!!
The S&P 500 moved 8.9% higher last Month, achieving one of its best monthly performances in history.. which is an indicator for profits to continue to improve. I just want my money to keep outgrowing the inflation rate. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $500K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
Whitney Kay Stacy is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment..
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Prop firm accounts offer more power and resources thats why i go ahead with stock prop firms like TTP.
Wrong Choice
Stock Will go to less than $2 by the End of this Year
You can not bet on a stock because you think people will be forced to drive EV in the future unless it's a 30+ years bet. Trust me, EV will be a thing of the past in the future.
How did that 10,000 work out for you buddy?
Is there moral implications investing in the ccp?
The biggest problem I see that will keep gas in the market is that gasoline is the waste product from the oil industry. What is produced as waste needs an outlet to get rid of, and what better a way than to use it as a fuel. I don't see gasoline going away any time soon however much certain groups might want it to happen. Perhaps if it can be recycled into something else as useful, then maybe it will become a different thing entirely.
Yes nio os li Volkswagen and shell all together. And it is so down.
Lucid and rivian are big examples that show that nothing is guaranteed anymore with Evs . And the hit is harder in the ev market to a level that a lot of new rivals might not survive . I lost lot of cash with Nio . And lesson learned not to buy any Chinese stock moving forward .
Nio is obviously not a bad car, but it is still VERY much in a "beta" stage, according to many tests i watched on YT. I have invested 30 bucks for now 😄 We will see!
My favorite stocks are #MARA, #NVDA, #NIO & etc in my Trade The Pool stock prop account.
I'm not trying to be a hater, but I would take a long hard look at China and their overall fiscal situation before investing in any company that resides within their borders.
😂
I’m down 25k on this nonsense because my 18year old self listened to stock moe during covid. Now my only option is to DCA down as much as possible and hopefully it meets me in the middle 😂
what about Rivian?
I would wait on that one since they are still making new all time lows so wait to see some support first before you enter or you might end up getting in to early and lose more than expected
FIRST I DONT LIKE YOU I LOVE YOU I TOLD MY DAUGHTER THE SAME THING YOU SAID
Ill not going back to any EVs right now.. im
10k in Tesla 10 days ago would’ve been nice to lol
Wish byd had options
Bouta buy leaps
Let's pump it up, we need your help!!!
I have 190,000 shares w $11 average😊
I did a bunch of cash secure puts at $6 you could say I’m down…
Can we at least get back to $11 this year?
Most likely at the beginning of 2025
This didn’t age well
I would have been a millionaire ten times over in my life other then speculating in sure things. I now invest in profitable companies and doing well. Keep your investments in companies like this below 10 percent combined.
Henry, you used to mention Nio many times a few years ago and then I am sure you lost $$ when it dived.
I sold years ago
How do I block Henry?
😅
NIO will do great 🚀🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥
I owned NIO in ‘21. Was so sad when I had to sell to pay divorce fees. Now it’s at $4?! Thank goodness for the divorce!! 😂
My three favorite channels: Invest with Henry, Stock Brotha, & How Money Works. Make my week complete! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Stock Brotha is for sure a walking legend !
You got my attention with this one
