Even after War some British Army Officers came to INDIA & met Major Chandpuri to know How only 120 Soldiers defended their Post whole Night...
But how can this come as a surprise? Suggests that intelligence was asleep when Pakistan was amassing across the border

Maj agha humayun amin a pakistani millitary historian has given a good account of this battle . He has personally interviews pak commanders .
This battle happened but unlike what shown in border movie there is difference in reality ...
Nearly strange equivalent to 3 battalions and a tank regiment attacked Longewala . Their actual plan was to bypass the post and take ramgarh and than jaisalmer but at last minute they changed the plan...
The attacked the post but wasted 5 precious hours.
Unlike the movie there was no physical infantry assault since pak army feared to enter the barbed wires which had minefields....
Atlast morning came and iaf attacked them and wiped them out

Great video, again. However, just some pronunciations here and there need correction, for example, Mortar is pronounced "maur-tur" not "maur-taar"...
Also the image showing 2/Lt Dharamveer is wrong. In the image you can see four-sided stars on his shoulders which indicates an officer of either Pakistan Army or the erstwhile British Indian Army. There is no way that a young 2/Lt in 1971 would have served in the Pre-Independence Army.
