One of the things I loved the most about the original Spyro trilogy was how they always used the same credits music. I always adore throwbacks like this.
i think i liked the 2nd one the best, i think it was because you could go back and talk to npc's a second time and you could do the missions again, in the first one, the only npc was that balloonist, the save faerie, and 'thank you for releasing me' and in the third one, after you did something, the people would disappear, it made me feel lonely when i couldn't do my favorite missions again, and there's no replay value for the 3rd one, at least the 2nd one you could get the superflame
12 years later - to my knowledge you could do all of the missions again in 3, except for the exit portal egg (which I wouldn't really call a mission). I know what you mean though, about the world being emptier. the missions weren't in the base level, but through those little activity star portals. so I can see how it made things feel more disconnected. and nothing beat the superflame new game plus trick in 2!
I guess given what we now know about the game's development, they probably didn't have time. But regardless of the reason, it definitely would have been _so damn cool_ to see Reignited pay tribute to these credits. Only video game credits I routinely sat through as a kid, because they're so visually cool--something developers struggle with even today.
@batistafan98 Same I am nearly 18 now i was born in year PS1 came out i play PS3 lots of other adventure games. This game makes me wish i was a teenager the years S2GtG and SYotD came out - This Spyro released end of 1999 mainly 2000 YotD end of 2000 mainly 2011 all of the best Spyro's are over 10 years old now =(. PS2 and PS3 Spyro's are not as better - Still some are good though
@DaxterMaster: Because you are from the UK, in the UK or Australia [PAL] region disks, it was called Gateway To Glimmer and in the US it was called Ripto's Rage. The remastered version coming in September is using the American title sadly. I kind of like the PAL release title, I had that title as I am from the UK too.

4:05 Wait Tom Kenny? As in SPONGEBOB Tom Kenny?!
I bawled my eyes out when I first made it to these credits as a kid. It still pulls at my heartstrings.
My personal favorite is spyro 3, but all of the first 3 spyro games are kick-ass :D
The original credits are the best. I don't know why toys for Bob couldn't do this

There is alot more names they have to list. I think it would be hard to make it look nice and cool like it is done here in the original
@@christinah3611 Could've probably kept the scrolling credits while going through all the worlds like the original? As opposed to just a black BG
@@TheRichardGHP Yeah they could have done that. Don't know why they chose the black version. The drawings are nice though
Summer forest, glimmer, idol springs, colossus, aquaria towers, sunny beach, skelos badlands, scorch, shady oasis, cloud temples
Damn! memories ! remember playing this game 8 years ago for unlimited hours ! i miss the old spyro games !
