@@robert111k The aria "Sposa, non mi conosci" is from Merope by Giacomelli. Vivaldi used it and turned it into the aria "Spossa son disprezzata" in his opera Bajazet. This was very common at the time. This is the information I have. I can't say any more. Regards

You have to say that to Bartoli, Genaux, Sumi Jo, Ryabets and many others who have sung it erroneously, believing it to be a part of the opera Bajazet, from Vivaldi. Everyone will thank you for the detail. I really think it's a sterile discussion. Bye.
