I admire and cherish Jennifer Larmore's talent and voice. I discover her in The Trojans here. What sounds a little odd is that she asks for pure vowels in her masterclasses, and many of her middle notes sound enriched by opacity, like a double internal resonance sound . No pure Ah. Maybe it's a physical particularity that creates these lightly "bottled" sounds.
