Nice job on all the figures. I'm confining myself to the Peninsula campaign as well, although I'm using "Black Powder" but have a copy of Valor & Fortitude that I'll compare when I have a chance. My battalions or of 36 figures rather than 24, just for the look. I'm not using any of "Imperial Guard" as the Emperor was only there a short period and so the Guard as well. Another historical mention, the 13th Cuirassier were the only cuirassier regiment to serve in the Peninsular Campaign and were captured in total at the battle of Bailin. However, a Spanish Cuirassier regiment was formed from their captured equipment with the only difference being that they wore red coats instead of blue, and well of course, a diminished "Elan" , no doubt. Also, on cavalry, I don't think either the "Royal Guard Hvy. Dragoons" or the Blue "Household Guard" fought in Spain, being too busy along with the "Grays" persecuting the Irish in Ireland at the time, but I'm not positive. I have 2 brigades of Spanish to support my British, who's stats & additional special rules make them too strong to go against head to head. I have 2 battalions of Irish & 2 of Swiss for more color and a bit of elite stats for the French . I plan on adding an Italian & Polish brigade for the same reason. The Brits have the Scots and that's as much as they need and more, in my opinion. Wish there wasn't an ocean between me and all my comrades in Europe. I look forward to many videos in the future.
Youre right in all. The Scot's Grey are in line to be converted, I inherited the models, plus started to paint them for the 100 days. But the Blu cavalry are light Dragoons and I have no painted Courassiers. I have the unpainted models that I plan to use when the Austrian will be finished. Anyway many thanks for the advice, I'm fairly new to the napoleonic period and although I'm studing at the moment, many more mistake will be made for sure, especialy now that I have a short range of painted figures to deploy... Cheers
Well, at least you have picked an era with a practically endless learning arena and scope. I was just looking at figures available for the Ottoman Empire in the Napoleonic era, gorgeous & crazy. Got side tracked into the Caribbean after drooling over Revolutionary French "Levee em Masse". Amazing ! @@TabletopHistory-ex7qn
Great armies. I am gland you are doing The Peninsular War. I am also doing the same period. I am looking forward to see your troops in the battlefield. Good Luck
I chose Peninsula because I have more possibility for battle, in the 100 days they fought 3 battles and one was Waterloo... When my Austrian will be ready I will have more "space" for other continental fought. I used Osprey and other books (which I forgot the titla at the moment) for uniform reference
Now that I've finally worked through the 2nd edition "V & F" and the first test game behind me, I hope to find a few interesting things here. Lots of nicely painted figures. 👍 By the way, I wouldn't repaint the figures, especially the Scots Grey. Hardly any army is painted 100 percent correctly. 😉
@@totalburnout5424 Well, I started with the 100 days, mostly because the first part of my collection was inherited from a fried who had already assembled them in such way. But I decided to move to the Peninsula due to the possibility to have more variation in the casual games. At that time (and still at the moment) my pile of shame was so huge that the idea of new models and more painting job scared me 😀😀😀
@@TabletopHistory-ex7qn I understand. 😀 The 100 days are iconic, but really don't offer enough options. Also started with the French for Quatre Bras. Then my teammate jumped off. Later built Austria as a second army.
For the knights they will come later on, when I've finished to learn Lion Rampant II. Samurai it's a bit harder not because I don't love, but for a reason or another not me nor my frieds ever painted a single one even if we all love them... But mostry it will be stuff with a gun😉
Lots of people play wargames with knights, also plenty use samurai. There are figures available for all periods from Ancient Sumeria and Egypt right up to modern day Ukraine.

Thank you, surely more videos about it will follow.
Me too...fò your figures and uniforms, is there a certain time-range you prefer, would you tell a little about that?

Excellent display of well painted figures, looking forward to seeing more of your work. Well done 👍
Thank you, I really appreciated...
the algorithm sent me to you! Nice channel!
Thank you
Great introduction video.👍👍👍
Really looking forward to seeing how you go with V&F. We are going to start version 2 soon in 6mm.
wow, very small scale. I'm on the opposite with 28mm, let me know the impressions
@@TabletopHistory-ex7qnYes, but we try and run Corp level games so in some ways we are BIG games 😁
Yikes wow! Such a temptation to take up a smaller scale than "God's Own" 15mm More space, more focus on maneuver
Surely on smaller scale you hve more space for manouvres
Impressive showcase, beautiful figures here...New sub and big like!
Thank you, they are not so great, but I need a good play level without going crazy...
Excellent. More napoleonics!!!
Yes, absolutely
Lovely figures, and your English is just fine! I'm looking forward to more from you. keep up the good work!
Thank you. More will follow for sure
Great looking armies. I wouldn'r worry too much about any "errors".
Thank you
Very nice figures, just subbed your channel 👍
Thank you

In the end, if you have seen I changed their heands and transformend in regular heavy dragoon... Thank you.
@@TabletopHistory-ex7qn It's a shame, I think it's better to paint something new and maybe you'll get to 1815 soon. Thanks for the answer.

I’ll ask do kights or samurai’s ever appear in war games or is it mainly stuff with guns ???

I am interested in theseeing rules.
The rules are free on the Perry minatures site. For any question, fell free to ask. More videos will follow about rules, tactics and bat rep
Thank you. I have subbed to your channel. All the best to you. Michael
