Thank you Lindy. We enjoyed our time in San Cristobal and a lot of it had to do with this quaint cabin in the woods. We have about 3 more videos on San Cristobal yet to do.
I am interpreting this as same Suzanne. It has been a while since we did a ask us anything live. We now have San Cristobal and Huatulco to discuss as well.
It really was good to us Alma. And we actually filmed that at the beginning of our stay there. By the end we were like jello! LOL It truly is a great place to just relax.
Nice digs Gina and Mark! The coolest (no pun intended) place you guys have lived yet. Came with built in pets LOL Gina you look like a little kid eating that cookie really cute! I could totally live there especially with the cooler temps. How nice to be able to walk out the back and right into the Bosque. Your neighbor's trees painted white, remind me of when I was a kid my Dad painted the trunks of the trees on our property white especially the ones lining the driveway. yea hoodies enjoy
Thanks Tom. It was really unusual to see puffy coats being worn in June in Mexico, but that is San Cristobal for you. It was a very tranquil place and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet that we were afforded there. We definitely had to change our wardrobe when we got here to Huatulco though. Wow, what a difference!
Putting up a map of San Cristóbal in relation to Mexico would have been helpful/interesting. Interviewing your host Lilianna would have been interesting as well.
We have done the map in some of the past videos, not sure why we stopped doing that. We will have to revisit that idea. It would have been an awkward video with our very poor Spanish and her even worse English. LOL
I use Google maps for almost all videos. You can even reference mark your favorite spots. I had San Cristobal saved from another video and was waiting for these additional "reports".😉 Even when UA-cam videos show a map, it's usually very brief and vague. 🤠✌️
@@tonydanzl Thanks Tony. I get the comment, as I always have to guide my mother on her map as to where we are going. If she has a general idea, it helps her immensely. 🌍
Thanks. It was unlike any other place we have encountered in Mexico. The cabin was so serene. Good sleeping weather, great front porch to unwind on and all that with nature surrounding us. Hard to beat.
Your bungalow came with pets! What a pretty and peaceful area you were in! I was aware of the "situation" in San Cris and Chiapas in general from a channel I follow.
Yeah, my favorite type, someone else's! LOL We were so oblivious to everything where we were located. It was so very placid and quiet in our little subdivision and we really never encountered anything when we ventured out. It was a great place for us to totally unwind.
Thanks Jenny. Your comment spurred a conversation between us as to which houses that we liked the most. Needless to say, there was a slight difference of opinion, but as a whole, we weren't too far apart. The roof also had a big plexiglass sun roof that was nice during the day, and even better when it rained as we could hear it hitting the plexiglass. It lead to some great sleeping background noise.
Any time! We really enjoyed it there. That front porch with the rockers was used rather extensively. Just taking a break and taking all that nature in as well.
Not without some changes. It needs an on-demand hot water system. It definitely needed better internet and finally, for the kitchen, a full size refrigerator and a pantry for groceries. It was perfect for a month though. Great opportunity to unwind, get some very good sleep, and recharge our batteries.
It was a very laid back location. We thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the front porch Glenn, and taking in all the nature that was around us. It was extremely peaceful where we were at and it definitely was cooler.
Hi guys! Thanks for the tour!! Definitely not what you expect when you typically think of Mexico! I’m originally from PA and it reminds me of there. Take care! -Mike
Looks FABULOUS!!! I LOVE San Cristobal. Will look forward to your videos on it and how you like it. The whole area is SO unique and quite different than other parts of México…Thanks you two for a GREAT showing of your wonderful place en las montañas…
You are so welcome Cathy. We really took to this little cabin. Not someplace that we would have stayed for more than a month due to the size of the house, but that quaintness was very welcomed for the time that we were there. We do have about 3 more coming from the San Cristobal area.
That would be this Wednesday night at 7 eastern/ 6 central and 5 for most of Mexico. Not sure what the theme will be this week. We have bantered about with a few different topics. Any suggestions?
Yes it is! That bridge that was directly behind our cabin led to the footpath through the forest. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cats were ok, most of the time they just did like all cats, and did their own thing. Thanks Wilfredo.
It was a little on the expensive side, Gloria. We had a harder time finding a place that could accommodate all of our stuff and the car as well. Sometimes, we just have to bite the bullet a little and pay more. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful place 👌
It really was all of that Marilynn. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this little slice of heaven there in the forest!
Beautiful! I love the kitties and the dog!
That was a great location Lisa. And the type of pets that we love, we get to interact with them, and then send them home. LOL
Nice videography, looking forward to your next San Chris videos.

I feel like I need to catch up again!!😎
So do we. It felt like we were gone for an eternity from the live streams.
Yes it is I !! 😎😂

I really enjoyed the editing
Tell Mark it had the perfect amount of kitty cat video.
Deal! She did her usual outstanding job on it. Yeah, the cats were a welcome distraction. And they came around just enough, not too often.

Hi Gina & Mark! So lovely to see you again... missing you guys!
Thanks Romy. Just think, in 5 months we will be back in Queretaro to see all of you again. We can't wait. Say hi to Momma!
@@GringosRUs Will do, dear Gina. Love you guys! Hasta pronto.

The land around your house looks like Minnesota, except for the 🌴 of course😂
But there weren't any lakes nearby. LOL It was a very peaceful place. Thanks Stephanie!
It seems a little pricey , but it is a nice place.
Oh, there are definitely cheaper options there in San Cristobal. But we really did enjoy our time there.
Nice! The cats and I don’t get along😂😂😂 The place looks amazing. Is the entrance to the Forrest next to your cabin?
