Some Book Offs only have books, that's how the one in Akihabara Tokyo was! Sometimes the bigger ones have figures since there's enough space!

I've got that Nazuna you were looking at. She does come with that setpiece to pose on and quality wise she's much closer to a popup parade than a typical prize figure. Really happy with her and she doesn't look out of place displayed next to my scales honestly.

I might look for a Haruko figure from FLCL on my next trip; I'd got a Lord Canti already to it'd make sense to have a matching Haruko. Also definitely going to be on the lookout for any and all Godzilla stuff lol

I spotted a Naomi Watanabe QPosket amongst the Re;Zero and honestly love that there's a figure of a plus size icon like her!
I'm so torn about Pop Up Parade figures atm, the quality seems to be going down and they stopped the cute colourful hexagon bases now and just have black discs like prize figures :|
Yea, I have a Korone Inugami Pop Up Parade that I love, like they do a good job with characters that don't have easy accessible figures, but I've noticed all that too!
Just looking at the plethora of Oshino Shinobu figures available in these stores makes me envious considering that they are really hard to come by here in the EU.
Hello again. I'm trying to hold myself back from jumping through the screen to snag a figure or 8... In reference to the "World ends With You" fig, the rough translation of Kotobukiya into English is "add $150 to the price"! But the prices in the first shop did seem high. But I will admit to falling for the Nazuna. The combo of the pose and her smirk spoke to me! And hey, 300 yen is 300 yen if it's what you want! And finally, I honestly want to thank you for braving the heat for the video! Loved your trip, and can't wait for the next!

Do you have any recommendations on where is the best shop to find the cheapest deals on figures in japan? Is it really true that it's cheaper in the outer parts on tokyo?

I love that they include video game characters among those figures. I assume because those specific figures have that anime art style? That being said, have you ever come across any Mega Man X (or, Rockman X as it’s called in Japan) figures?
I have seen a few! A bit more rare I think!
That would explain why they don't appear often. I actually have one of my favorite character; Zero. Though I don't have him on display anymore because posable figures are annoying to keep clean without them falling over.

Hi! I'm planning to go to Japan next year. I would like to find some figures of Persona, Digimon that are made from Megahouse, Kotobukiya and I think Tamashii Nations. Do you think it will be hard to find those?
I think it'll be pretty easy! There's Kotobukiya and Tamashi Nations stores in Akihabara plus tons of second hand shop filled with them
