Please kind sir i ask for your help. I have updated this speaker from it's app and now i have no sound whatsoever. No sound during music, no beeping, no sound from chinese lady. I would like to revert back to old firmware. If you have any ideea how to help me i would be grateful. The updated version is 1.40.14

Like most Xiaomi products, I am generally impressed with the hardware and the fit of the plastic build but disappointed with the software.
accountname0 Software shouldn't be amazing because it's a china only device and they haven't yet released it outside of China yet...
And makes sense, Google is banned in China - so a Ai speaker without Google Search is kinda cool, to say the least.(as every other AI's use Google)
Yeah, mainly because Xiaomi focuses almost exclusively on China or India. Hopefulyl more India stuff because India is very Googly compared to China, better for all of us!

Yeah, and for this I highly doubt they will ever translate to English, because Xiaomi is all China, at least the software part

no subtitles for the chinese speaking parts Zi...? would have been nice to know what you were asking it apart from the obvious stuff of course...you looked like you were having fun though...LOL
My bad, the software didn't export hardcoded subtitles onto the video so I had to upload my own subtitle file. Its working now though.
In America now, xiaoai hasn't been able to play a song yet :(

Oh definitely, great sound, more features (well some don't work well but better to have than to don't have right)

Yup sound is definitely good, and its a bluetotoh speaker, so you can use spotify or even Apple music if you want, just connect to bluetooth
I have one of these speakers. I only use it as a Bluetooth device as it is not very good outside China.

I am using it in Canada, I have no problems. Sometimes the Chinese server response is slow, but I can also play lots of songs.

Xiaomi is nearly perfect. If they used stock Android on there phones instead of Miui, and have Google Assistant instead of Xiao AI.
they indeed use google assistant in theyr european/global android ROM´s. also miui is as close to boring old stock Android as it needs to be. personaly i like its fresh design very much. it is sleek, it is fast and it is customizable. MIUI all the way over pixel or touchwiz. everything else thats not miui now makes me puke (maybe with the exception of cyanogenmod rom´s. but thats sadly dead)

have you tried the secret service test yet ZI...i remember people trying the hey siri/ok google "are you connected to the CIA" and both refusing to answer i guess with this one you would have to ask it about the chinese secret service the 'MSS'...LOL
