Can you do one video for us still with side imaging only. Like a count down video showing how long to let lures sink and how fast to reel them in to be 25’ down with all the mega live lures for basin walleye.
Great ,to see new ways to catch old fish, The weather must be rainy, most of your videos were over cast, conditions, and were productive,as always, 😊😊😊
I’ve watched a lot of your videos on UA-cam and your premium sub and this one might be my favorite one yet. Awesome video, super informative, and good banter. 👍🏻
You guys caught some nice walleys today! Thanks for the info and tips. On a side note, I also got a good laugh: Mitchell: "I have a face for radio, and you're the kinda guy that goes home and looks in the mirror and just has a conversation with yourself everyday." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Priceless!!!
The really cool thing about using mega live at this time of year is finding those big roamers suspending over deep water where I always had a tough time even knowing those fish were in the area! Tom- how would you catch or find those fish suspended without mega live? Great video by yourself and Mitchell!!
A great video. I have a question and I hope you respond. I use to go up to Saint Germaine, Minocqua and Woodruff when I was younger, I haven’t been up there for 20 years. I went up there last week with my boys. I was really surprised at how many lakes I went to that said fish restoration in progress please catch and release. Is that because there was a big freeze out or are people just keeping that much more look forward to your response. Thanks for the great video.
Looks like you added another live mount/pole. Do you have one for the back as well, for those windy days on spot lock, or do you just try to hit them from the side? Have a 185 tiller and trying to decide if I should order 2 mounts.
great video, awesome fish! I like the search bait idea with crawlers. I have issues with it tangling up after I cast. I get the crawler all the way up to the hook eye. Any he;pful tip out there?
I noticed in most videos when you use the search bait and a crawler, you use the straight hook, rather than "swivel" style. Curious on the reason for your choice.
I sure would love to go for a ride in that boat sitting at the back so I can hear that motor supply power to the water, get your buddy to sit beside you and film it with no damn music I want the sound that you hear and fill thank you.
No Offence , but Tom has fished tons of hours and did tons of videos without live scope , so you can always search his old videos as Tom hasn’t had live scope for that long ,
Forward facing sonar will continue to degrade fisheries. There are always unethical people that will use this sonar to keep all the big fish. It's just not in line with fair chase.
More often than not, the people that are unethical are not going to spend the $$ to get FFS. Also from personal experience, FFS does not equate to catching fish. It's a tool just like side imaging that can help you figure out a fish pattern.
@@Walleye_Nick That's total nonsense. Why would you think that unethical people would not buy forward facing sonar? That makes absolutely zero sense. It's actually likely that the more money they spend on sonar, the more likely they might be to keep more and bigger fish to justify their expense. And your second statement is only relevant in some cases. People have and continue to use forward facing sonar to exploit fisheries in a big way in certain situations. For example, you can destroy the size structure of panfish with this technology in short time on smaller bodies of water while ice fishing. It's already happened. If you don't realize this, then you don't live in the real world. The bigger point is, the technology will only get better. We need to get way ahead of it while we can and in no way are we doing that.
Summer walleyes? In 65 degree water and you wrapped up like you are in a deer stand? Hmmm. maybe in northern Canada. 🤷🏻♂️ Water is 80 here by late may, thats summer walleye.
Bring back tourist Tom! Only
the OG’s will understand 🤠
Not sure I got the wardrobe anymore
Hyped every time I see a new video to sit back watch, learn, and enjoy … thank you for making these and teaching the ways of walleye fishing
Thanks for watching!
I got the Kalins net for father's day! Love it! Thanks kids!
You are raising them right!
Glad the big ones are still in the lake, instead of the natives spearing them. Nice video as always dudes!

Deadly vid you guys! Next level production, Mitch!
Good work Mitchell!

Love that lake. The tiller -warrior is ridiculous, in the most awesome of ways.
Another stellar performance !
Wow! That is way harder than it looks I know! Well done!
Heading to thunder lake Minnesota tomorrow from Colorado hopefully I figure out them walleyes up there!

Great vid and edit! That Kalin's net is legit. Held up to a decent pike recently. 👍👍
Fun to watch on those waters
Hey, the weather helps. Those low barometer stormy days the fish seem to bite better.

Glad we could provide some comic releif
Tom still waiting on that Leech Lake Shelby fishing trip 🙄 and dont forget the fur babies!!!! 3:13
Headed back from lake of the woods. My white Tundra and targa19. Hi Tom, I hope fishing was great. Leach lake, I presume.
Great vid, awesome editing/filming👍🦅
Great Vid man! Great vid. Those walleyes are aggressive. Gonna try your jigging technique.
We know your net is 22X26 so there you go. Looks honest!! Beautiful specimens.
The crocs are back baby! You can wash em in the dishwasher!

We have trolled for these fish for years in basin. Very effective. I just enjoy casting more than trolling
Great video guys 🎣
Made me repeat, "the big fish zone" with a head nod :D
Sick intro shots! 👌
Mitchell kicking out the hot edits
Bring back Tom talks !
Impressive! Keep up the good work.
Absolutely ❤
Yet another beaut of a video! Big eyes oh my!
Gotta lob the cast. It's a non issue once you do that
Appreciate you watching

he;pful tip out there?
Lob the cast. Use a 15# flouro leader
Is that another mega live on the other side of the boat?.. just wondering what you use that for or maybe it's a backup.
Some Great catches
you guys are awesome
Bought a few search baits and almost every time I cast it get tangled up. Any recommendations?
Lob it ... Don't whip it. Use a 15# flouro leader
I noticed in most videos when you use the search bait and a crawler, you use the straight hook, rather than "swivel" style. Curious on the reason for your choice.
I feel I hook up a little better
When you say #10 braid and then a 10' leader what kind of knot, I'm assuming, are you using with that search bait? No swivel??
Double uni knot
Tom why is my seach bait getting caught on itself when I cast it?
Lob the cast. Go to a 14lb flouro leader
Going to try one of those reels. Is that the 2000 size? Thanks
2000 yes!
Nice
Hey guys start measuring and not guessing
U on my lake boiiiii. Stay in Hayward dood
Monsters….amazing
What plastics do you recommend for the search bait because I don’t have any places to get night crawlers.
Uncle Josh crawlers
Northland Impulse Riggin Leech 4 1/2".
Damn it, why you gotta show inland fisherman the shiver? Been my secret for years. Now every Tom Dick and Harry is gonna be pitching the shiver, lol
Dudeeee I’m stoked for the hyper rattle bite ! How do you like those shivers? Are they better for casting ?
They are interchangeable baits
Come try Bull Shoals and you will meet your match.
Snagged
Why the shiver over the hyper rattle different action because it’s early?
Both will work. That's just what I grabbed out of box
Shouldn't you win every walleye tournament? Are you allowed in tournaments?
Pretty impressive without livescope
I sure would love to go for a ride in that boat sitting at the back so I can hear that motor supply power to the water, get your buddy to sit beside you and film it with no damn music I want the sound that you hear and fill thank you.
We need to have the bump board thrown in the boat
You should do a video without using a live not hating on the live
No Offence , but Tom has fished tons of hours and did tons of videos without live scope , so you can always search his old videos as Tom hasn’t had live scope for that long ,
Our water was 65 in early April…
It bothers me that you didn't bring a bump board! Lol how do you know that one wasn't 30"?!?!
It doesn't bother me at all. A big walleye is a big walleye. I can measure a few for ya in future
@@TomBoley I appreciate that good sir!! Ha
eat breakfast= catch fish!
So I just need a boat with $15k worth of electronics and I can catch walleye all day.
Guess I just won’t be catching walleye then.
See my voluntary Kalins review emailed to Mitch.
You have a face for radio...not cool but FUNNY😅
