if you hold mode button or go back to local time function on gwg 2000, it will indicate power reserve with H , M or L.
If you hold light button and mode button at the same time the hands will shift away from the display 🙂.
Please check the module opération Manuel
Oh thank you 😊 I did read the instructions indeed have a video on how to use this watch after reading and typical of me obviously missed one thing. I'll try this later as I never knew 😆 it wouldn't be a video by me if I got every things 100% exactly 😆 thank you for watching hopefully everything else correct 😊
Pinned comment so people can see too.
Indeed I just tried this and the hands do Indeed shift light button plus bottom left mode button they shift.
Oh yes I see it now ffs 😆 🤣 it's under my nose it's literally that letter next to word TIME! Thank you for reply got me pressing and looking and thinking nothing is appearing but its literally already there with word time 😆 I'd see it all the time and never think oh why that odd letter there 😆 🤣
I have both models and I love both of them. My AnaFrog is my daily, water activities and travel watch while my Mudmaster is the one I abuse at work and is my SHTF watch.
I enjoyed your video. Well done. I want to use a G-Shock for traveling because it’s safer than bringing stainless steel luxury sports watches. However, I really want an analog dual time indicator, like the Frogman, that is LARGE and very visible. Can you do a video on various travel scenarios where one can use the dual time on the Frogman? For example, the sub dial is set to one’s home time, then you board a flight and land somewhere else and want to use the subdial to see what time it is at home. How do you set the local time on the large hands? Is that easy? Thank you
I loved my Ana-Frog but just found it a little too big to be comfortable so sold it. The GWG2000 is just right. Do regret selling the Frog though ...
Yeah it's definitely large I think it's the strap design more than watch
I wonder how the RN froggy with it's resin strap would be
Or did you have a strap on yours?
Thanks for watching great to see you here again hope you're doing ok
@@wildaboutwatches Mine was plastic strap like this one. The strap was a lovely quality imho, but again, massive bulk and often found the watch digging into my hand when I bent my wrist. Still gorgeous though …
So to keep one. Which one is it?
The frogman does not have a removable case back as it has NO case back. It’s a monocoque case, meaning one piece, you have to gain access to the movement from the front of the case.
I have the GWG 2000 1A1ER, I’m sure like mine if you hold the B button, (bottom left) it indicates the battery level.
How does it indicate when you hold mode or b or bottom left (I write it that way to help others who might read this later) is it the two arrows next to word time? Is less battery one arrow? Thank you for commenting and helping with this. I also discovered by another comment light and that mode button held for few seconds shifts hands out the way. We learn all the time :)
@@wildaboutwatches you hold it down and it indicates power level on the LCD, H-M-L ( High -Med-Low) for a few seconds before returning to previous display.
@@hungrr08 it's me just other channel. I replied to you just now but somehow it went to the pinned comment. Thank you for your help. I see it now :) check out my reply it's kinda funny 😁
I always love my 3 gshock, gpw1000, gpr-b1000, gwf-d1000nv,
The G-Shock community is divided on these two Master of G models. The analog version of the frogman is hated by diehard digital frogman collectors and the Mudmaster GWG-2000 is just slim down version of the GWG-1000. I bought the Frogman because of new design and my Mudmaster GWG-1000 is my zombie apocalypse watch.
Hiya replying from correct channel for once 😆
The analogue froggy is a real looker the digital froggy is like a puffer fish 😆 🤣 but I still like it
Have you heard rumours a new digital froggy might come out?
Sometimes people just don't like change or a tweak here and there
I love the new muddy it's brutal 😆
@@wildaboutwatches I haven't heard but I will be on the lookout for it!!
I prefer analog frog
@Stolencamaro I bought the analog Frogman with the red strap from Amazon because it was the cheapest one and now it's the most expensive one on Amazon. I got it for 625 and now it's up $794.
If you hold all 5 buttons down at the same time for 7secs you'll travel back in time 😂👍
Great video! thank you for sharing😄
Thank you for watching and posting comment
Great video
Really good comparison .
I really enjoy your videos
Thank you very much great to hear
I like that Froggy 👍
Yes this particular model has a very good looking dial thank you for watching
@@wildaboutwatches the Casio Oceanus are nice, you should have a butchers at them 👍
Is the bezel bronze or silver finish on the gwg 2000, It's hard to tell from the videos and pictures of it
Mudmaster= land
Frogman= water
In this case Mudmaster for me. On the other hand digital Frogman is my absolute fav Gshock
Nice video, I’m new with the frogman so I’ve some questions, frog has compass, sig, snz? thanks for ur help
Hello nice to meet you here
Its confusing and definitely confused me
The first I got was the GWF A1000 analogue and I thought it had death gauge. Nope so I got the GWF 1000 thinking it would nope.
If you want depth plus triple sensor with compass etc you need gwf D1000 it's discontinued so ebay is needed and about £800
Love your comparison video, very detailed in a practical way. Thank you!
Thank you 😆
Do you have a link to get the metal band for the Frogman???
Sorry no idea on that but thank you for watching
Oh, I see. The analog frogman is essentially a depth meter by using the stopwatch together with the tide graph and time dials instead of a moon phase graph. quite a long winded explanation considering it doesnt say anything about that in the manual. I just assumed they just had no reason to put a moon graph on it. lol. I think it's the entire point of the watch. lol.
Hello
Either I made a boo boo or you totally misunderstood me?
Edit disregard the first bit below I getting my watches and videos mixed up but I'll leave it there as its interesting relevant to the named watches lol
We talking Rangeman and GWF 1000 here not the newer D1000 which has depth gauge. This is the earlier version it has no depth gauge unfortunately. Indeed I bought it thinking it did lol but alas this model doesn't. Nor does the brand new version out now. Indeed it has moonphase and tide graph. I believe the moon is pre set via city and multi band six. The tide has to be manually set. Its been awhile since i did video and never remember it all afterwards lol 😆 if I made error please highlight it as we can all learn. Thank you for watching much appreciate your time
@@wildaboutwatches oh, didn't know they made a newer version. Will check it out!
Ok I made error in reply! The analogue froggy A1000 does not have a moon phase at all. It has tide indicator which can be set manually or via app. Hopefully I have videos up on both options sadly it also has no depth gauge. Excuse error in reply and mixing up videos and watches. Too tired to function lol
Yes a new digital version but no depth on it and it's not even multi band six which is pretty poor.
@@wildaboutwatches yeh, they prolly figured trying to find atomic time underwater could lead to drowning. hahaha
And ? Did you buy both ?
Both mine
the new Mudmaster is a luxury of materials and construction. can't compare with the old one. for me they are different watches
I have both. Enjoy them equally. Only complaint, the band on the GWG-2000 is cheaply made. For the price, the band should be a higher quality.
Hi Scott yes it's a fab watch great to have both 😀 bit addictive 😀
The 2000 is definitely a lot of money worth it just about although you hit nail on the head maybe a bit cheaper to compensate for the strap as froggy strap better. The RN froggy is £100 less than this version I think.
Thank you for watching hopefully you made it to the end as that helps the UA-cam algorithm 😀
HEY!! I'M THE 34th "LIKE"!!!
Thank you number 34 😀 looking for more happy fun viewers like you to like 😆
The GWG 2000 shows battery level if you hold down the 8 o clock button for a few seconds, it shows L, M, or H in the left corner of the digital display.
Connect to the app to check battery power. Top left corder. Easy peasy.
