RESIN SAFETY
Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Do some research into using resin safely so you can be as well informed as possible to the possible health risks of using it incorrectly.

There are loooooaaaddss of shaker vids on youtube hun but the difference is yours is really detailed and shown in real time.. A lot of them (mine included) are sped up because this is a lengthy process, but it's really good that you've shown it like this! I use UV resin to do mine but that's because a) I'm impatient 😂 and b) I have a 3 year old... So fat chance of me getting to leave them somewhere safe! 😂😂😂 But I like the idea of drilling the hole then filling up through that, I've always poked a hole in the film and then domed over that! There may be heaps of shaker videos (Which I have not been able to find, either) but yours in the one I found, and boy howdy was it illuminating! I was doing it all in the wrong order (I filled mine too soon! Before doming, and ended up with leaking and and bug mess) and ending up with terrible looking projects! Thanks for the video!

Great tutorial! I love seeing videos like this that actually teach you about the project you're doing (also it's nice to see your face! You're very pretty 😊) The videos that just show you what's done in 100x speed with tons of editing drive me nuts! I guess those are good for entertainment, but if you actually want to do the project they aren't as helpful sometimes 😅

I actually wanted to ask, when do you make use of the UV torch?
You're welcome! Sometimes i use the uv resin and torch for tiny resin projects or as a glue when i make shakers (to stick on the clear transparency sheet)
Does a torch only cure specific kinds of resin? Also why do you only use it on “ teeny tiny projects”? I have never done this so maybe this is a dumb question but I’m just curious. These turned out so amazing and inspiring!

Where do you get the film you cover the cavity with? Where do you get syringes and are there some that work better than others? Thank you so much!
Hi Dawn! I have a link on my instagram for my favourite UV resin :) the film is just transparent sheets used for overhead projectors and i just use medical syringes with blunt needles i was able to get from work but easily found in pharmacies! Hope this helps
