I’ve gotten a cheap onward ticket that gets cancelled for when I start my trip in Mexico, but I’m unsure if I need to continue doing that even though I will be crossing land borders from then on. Did you find you needed this proof when travelling through Central America?

When crossing land borders do you need to worry about being asked for proof of onward travel?
Depends on the country. For €10 you can get a legit onward ticket that gets cancelled after a day automatically

@nyamariee. I didn’t need one really, I believe only Costa Rica required one, but they didn’t check mine.
