Begin again:I think it's strange that you think I'm funny cause he never did I bet you think about me:you laughed at my dreams rolled your eyes at my jokes All too well 10mv: I was never good at telling jokes :) GJ really had the audacity to tell Taylor she's not funny...
She also finally revealed "I Bet You Think About Me" to everyone and that also had a lyric about how the guy rolled his eyes at her jokes (and laughed at her dreams). She was so rightfully hurt, even bitter, about how rude he was towards her and explicitly telling her she's not funny.
This is the perfect culmination of a heartbreak album, a sweet, hopeful song. It is about her first date with Conor Kennedy (RFK's grandson). They had a summer romance when he was 18 and she was 22 (she did a complete 180 from her 2 previous boyfriends who were in their 30s., followed by Harry, who was also 18). Jake didn't like her to wear heels so she wouldn't be taller than him, they didn't have the same taste in music (he belittled hers) and rolled his eyes at her jokes. She was rightfully refreshed to meet a kind young man who was the polar opposite of Jake.
So glad you finished the Red album. This song is so sweet and the new recording is so much richer. And her deeper, older, more reflective voice on all this is so powerful.
My favorite song on this album is definitely the new 10 minute version of All Too Well, that's just a masterpiece, although I have a lot of other faves too because idk a lot of it is so brilliant. I vidded the 10 minute All Too Well in a fanvideo I'm so proud of too. But I've also vidded "Red" nearly a decade ago in one of my most popular videos ever and I'm attached to so many songs on this album for so many different reasons. The vault tracks were SO good too. Nothing New hit me especially hard when I first heard it this past year. I never gave Holy Ground a chance before and now I'm vidding it and love the message of it so much and how uniquely it captures how grateful you are for the sweetness of first love even if it's over now and that's sad. There's such a mix of things I feel towards different parts an pieces of this album. Can't wait for Midnights to come out, and I'm also so excited for her other re-releases of old songs.
There really is so much in this album! It’s is insane that she released an album with 30 songs that are not fillers… so many different types of emotions and like you mentioned a 10 minute version of all too well which good hard for every single second. Last time I heard of a song that long that kept my attention was “Jesus of Suburbia” by Green Day but I’m biased as that’s my fav artist 😅 anyways, her productivity is unmatched as if re-receding wasn’t enough, she has new music still to put out! INSANE 🤯
Your reactions are pure. You don't hype anything. You simply honestly react to what you hear, and you seem to appreciate the artistry. It's refreshing to see that in the YT world of fake and over-the-top reactors. Thanks for that.
This is such a beautiful song. Perfectly placed at the end to sum up and move on from the breakup she had. Definitely one of her best songs ever

@@ohef17 I always loved that entire Green Day album too ;)
you might have seen the video; it was one of the singles of the original album. The video is set in Paris; worth watching, if you haven't seen it.
Thanks for all the reactions. Appreciate it much.
