We've been looking @ bayo 3 for my class on video game cinematography, and our debate came to the concluison that it's one of the few really well choreographed finishers that feel "bayonetta-ish" compared to the first to games. Largely on account of the wartrains design meaning that the witches have to make up the physicality for the motions. 3 in general has a toned down feel to the lewd physicality and dancing tho
13:16 Say about the game what you want I love the whole concept with the multiverse. It has it’s flaws sure but we saw Bayo using all of her 500+ years of power and saw her reaching her limit like this scene. You see how much she’s in pain and that she literally used all of her power and strength throughout the whole game and that’s what we love aber cereza don’t we? Protecting what she loves and doing anything she can whatever the cost. Her dying was a pain in the booty and seeing her bleeding and struggling to stay on both feet was painful but in the end…she deserves this retirement. Though to be frank I think she’ll return in some way in Bayo 4, maybe just as a guidance or even a summon for viola! Just imagine that like OH MA LORD
Yeah and no... It's a fitting move for an exhausted Bayonetta, but it's also kinda not too. They also whiffed the opportunity to use Sheba with Demon Slave mechanics, you bring out the other 2 main Bayonetta's all in fighting condition against the final phase of Singularity, would have been the best time to make an either controllable Sheba or another entity similar to Omne through time displacement, instead it's just Gamorrah once more doing the same move he did earlier and that somehow did the job this time, with the final phase being brittle parry Viola "sort of" winning the fight against dark eve who pops up out of nowhere (irrespective of how the archives try and phrase it)
@@lowhp_comic Honestly I feel like Viola's and the endings biggest issue was the fact the Dev team was trying to emulate how DMC5 ended- With Viola trying to parallel Nero, and the ending trying to parallel how DMC5 ended Problem is we get a lot more time with the little rage machine known as Nero to watch him grow both as a person and how he grows in power before he effectively takes over the franchise- We barely get any playtime with Viola in comparison. Plus Nero is just a lot more fun to play as in general (I might be biased though, I just love the concept of manhandling my enemies) And for the ending... Yeah we had 3 Bayo's at the final battle, I don't care how battered and bruised one of them is, that's still two people at practically their peak that can summon who they want- But no, it had to be an emotional ending that results in the main character of the past games getting trapped in Hell so that the next generation can take over.
Oh. He(/She/It) listens. First time was the balance between realms going out of wack. This time was because Bayo’s contract was destroyed along with her Umbra Watch.
He is a savage and primitive demon, the only agreement between bayonetta and him is that she offered him angels to devour, then in the 3, she finds a way to subdue him.. In Bayonetta 2, as said above, since the right eye of light no longer existed, hell was unleashed, and creatures like Gommorah could break out of the terms of the pact. At the end of the 3, her submissive grip goes away since she no longer has a witch's heart, so no more power.
Hmm, that final climax finisher is anticlimactic compared to the other final climax finishers from both Bayonetta 1 and 2. I did find it hilarious that Madama Butterfly did the Kamehameha, though.
If you count all the climaxes in the fight I think it makes up for the lack of one final summon that punch or kicks the villain into space. personally for me the kamehameha alone compensates.

@@lushdontu4015 More than half of them
@@joeluchiha wtf? All the climax were soooo cool. The phantom created a black hole, Baal zebul gave a concert and queen butterfly and gorromoh sent singularity to space with a potent beam of energy. The previous games never did any of that. We can also summon demons regularly and wield their powers. If that isn’t enough for you then you are crazy
Second!
I REALLY HATE THE MUSIC... THEY COULD'VE DONE BETTER... SOUNDS LIKE TEENAGER MUTANT NINJA TURTLES SOUNDTRACK... BLAH SUX
Try to be reasonable with your comment at least lol, what you said is completely non sense
You must not play many Japanese games, this is typical Japanese/ bayonetta music tbh
I'm glad i skipped this one. The art direction is all wrong. It's probably a fine action hack and slash game. It just doesn't have the bayonetta feel. Oh and the hadoken was just stupid. Along with many of the other beam attacks. What happened to the pure raw bite and slash and claws? This is just one big slapstick game.
