"Bayo and Jeanne passionately scissoring while being dragged to hell would've made for a better ending than whatever she and Luka were doing." ~ my brother, post bayo 3 ending
3:55:06 Considering Viola doesn't have a British accent, it's INSANELY jarring for her to say "mummy🥺" and "daddyuwu" unironically. If anything, SHE would be the one to say "mom" and "dad" like AN ACTUAL TEENAGER. This game's writing is a sad, wrinkly nutsack.
Trust me I was also fuming that Viola takes the Bayo mantle…aka I am not supporting the Bayonetta franchise anymore UNTIL i get my sassy sexy witch back who does not need a man especially Luka
@@NIHIL_EGO so…I ordered a full-length mirror from Amazon it was behind me. When Rodin called her Bayonetta a swung my fist and broke it. I called Amazon told them I never got it and they refunded me sent me a new one. I profited and I’m still angry at this.
Other Bayonetta's die... Me: NO! Jeanne dies... Me: NOO! Bayonetta kisses Luka and then dies... Me: NOOO! Only Viola is left... Me: *Turning off the game and leaving...*
@@thefactspherefromportal2740 idk where u heard this from but the bayonettas and jeans are dead cause they all went to hell, and theres no way to get a soul back once it enters hell, bayo got jean back cause of witch magic and rodins help since hes the king of hell and such
@@matthewlugo2417 after some months of thinking, it's just ambiguous. Enzo's family was alive after the end, and we never _see_ the other bayos get dragged to hell. That combined with how Bayonetta "restored" them during the Singularity fight and how bayos 1 and 2 came back to help. Then there's the fact that the other bayos were crushed, stabbed, or blasted to death, it's all just really _unclear._
@The Fact Sphere from Portal 2 think about what a witch is they are servants of hell basically, a type of monster human with demonic abilities cause of the dark arts, each bayo was crushed red crystal aka umbran tears and red usually symbolizes inferno in the bayonetta universe and yellow/ white is paradiso
As much as I love her VA, Viola belongs in the bargain bin at Walmart. Small edit, passing the torch to Jeanne, even in the Brave Cereza (Bayo3 timeline/Bayo1 child Cereza) timeline would make way more sense than passing it to her AU kid that fuckup version of herself had like, what did B0 Bayo do to get a kid like _Viola_ of all people? I wouldn’t mind Bayonetta continuing with Jeanne as the main, everyone loves Jeanne bc she’s a mf icon but noooooo she had to get pricked by a man in the most worthless way possible like???? Anyway, Baal Zebul and Egypt Bayoverse were the best parts of this game and no one can tell me otherwise yas
agree!!!!!! i love her VA and the work she does for the trans community. i hope she is successful and gets her check. i just hate the character she’s voicing
@@mayonetta1406 She actually knew Rodin even before the events of the first game, since he's the one who crafted All 4 One. Furthermore, it's doubtful she wouldn't keep contact with the daughter of her best friend.
you nailed it like literally who is this marketed for now?? how does it make any sense?? when you hear the word Bayonetta any description that comes to mind immediately is the exact opposite of what Viola’s character is so like what do they think they’re doing with this exactly… the only chance i see this working out is if somehow she returns with the confidence and style of Bayo to the point that she’s basically rewritten to be her, and in a more yassified look because the current one is NOT giving it sucks because this definitely has the best gameplay of the 3 and you can tell a lot of care was put into the game, but definitely in questionable priorities
someone said "Bayonetta is not like Robin, she cannot be played and the name is not tossed around. Bayonetta is Cereza and Cereza only." and I will literally stand BY THAT!!! I totally agree. I hope Viola has a fierce look for Bayo 4. I'm praying because I want to enjoy her but this made me hate her, a lot.
The creators let slip that Viola will be a side character in bayo 4. So either Bayo will be back in all her glory or we'll have Jeanne as our main next game,
After I beat the Baal Zebul section for the first time, I found myself watching it on repeat on UA-cam, I was so obsessed. If I had any doubts about this game, she sold me on it.
@@NemesisLacroix I also agree with you a lot about the end. I wanted to like Viola, but she hasn't earned the role of the main character. If they decide to continue with her story and not use the multiverse to start fresh somewhere else, she's gonna have to do a lot to prove she's earned the right to use her mother's name.
Basically, the protagonist in Bayonetta 3 is Cereza. The little girl you raised in Bayonetta one. She is a version of Bayonetta who were never sealed away for 500 hundred years after the witch hunts because our Bayonetta from 1/2 taught her to be a brave little girl and that there is nothing she can't overcome. When it came to our Bayonetta, she was the little girl in her timeline that was never a time displacement she lost hope when her mother died (Rosa) which lead to Jeanne sealing her away before the events of Bayonetta one to keep the left eye of darkness out of reach. Bayonetta 3s protagonist due to this has 500 years more experience and knows more forbidden umbran magic while ironically being the forbidden child of light and dark which makes her the strongest varient. Little cereza is refered to as "arch eve origin" because she is the cause of multiple splits in the timeline and multiple versions of herself to erupt. If you look at her bio, it says she survived the witch hunts with jeanne and left vigrid by choice and lived in new york. (but by our knowledge for our Bayonetta she is sealed away for 500 years) Although when it comes to Brave Jeanne of her timeline she might not be dead at all but instead reforming in this timeline since "Phenomenal affirmations weren't absolute" as said by our Bayonetta when their universes were believed to be destroyed long ago. Although I don't know why Sigurd was after so many Cerezas at a time but i suspect it might be the speculated fear of another Armageddon arising (since in the first games it's been said that crafting a bond with one of the light, the lumen sages would start a calamity of problems) in Bayonetta two the eyes of the world were erased in that timeline by Loki when he used the card of nothingness. I think Aesir wanting the left and right eye so bad might come from that fear of what's to come. Although since Bayonetta 1 and 2 separated from little cereza it's likely that they returned back to their timeline and are still alive. Just our little Cereza is now in the depths of inferno. I'm not sure what the objective was here nor does it make much sense? Considering that she has no reason to pass the torch to Viola as one of the Bayonettas. Considering that she is not BO Bayonetta from the records of time that shattered and became a witch heart
As long as they kept hiding it for the lolz, instead of showing us flashbacks to give us HINTS and make us Accept better that this version of bayonetta could fall for Luka, but they never done that, it just makes the ending worse. It's the worst way of telling a story: Not telling it at all and finishing it rushing everything adn putting lots of fanservice to TRY and make us happy but ultimatelly failing at that.
@@advmx3 I agree, i hope that in the next game they won't do this shit again. Kamiya pretty much confirmed that Cereza is still the protagonist in future games and mentioned Viola under the list of secondary characters like Loki, Balder, Rosa, Jeanne, Luka, Rodin, Enzo etc.
I think Brave Cereza made Viola the Bayonetta of her universe because there was none anymore after she sacrificed herself to save every other Bayonetta. Nonetheless what did she do to deserve being a Bayonetta...
@@jessicabarretogarcia3806 i might be wrong but, i think that luka in bayonetta 3's timeline NEVER met little cereza from b1, it was bayonetta 1's luka that did, and in the b1 timeline bayo and luka are not together nor did they have a child
Miss Baal Zebul literally carried this entire show, only 3 mins she became an icon, a legend, and became the moment with her unforgettable perfomance, she's isn't called empress for nothing.
Cereza carries the Bayonetta series. If there is a Bayonetta 4 it will not be good unless Viola gets a glowup, becomes the baddest bitch alive (which she probably won't), and stop being dorky.
agreed! hoping for a Viola glow up and dive into a mature woman with not-so-unserious attitude. Considering the world is at her fingertips now and she has barely anyone to help her
My issue with the ending is this... They made it a point that the multiverses were somehow restored as Enzo's family members were revived (Post credit scene when he is on the phone with them.) Obviously Bayo and Luka would be dead, but then wouldn't that mean that Jeanne is alive? Why wouldn't she be considered to be Bayonetta? Or like, at least establish her as Viola's mentor so she can at least earn the title of Bayonetta (This way, we can learn more about her Viola and maybe get to develop her character). Not to mention, if they have restored the universes... why didn't Viola go back to her fucking universe with her own mother?!? Jeanne could have taken the Bayo title and held onto it until she could return the favour and save Cereza!!!! They honestly hate Jeanne so much and have no clue why smh 🙄
They basically do confirm Jeiane isn’t dead in bayo origins, don’t keep reading if you don’t want spoilers but Jeanne was given a vision when cereza and jeanne were still kids (in origins) Jeanne was able to spirit project and know that in the future she was gonna die (singularity time traveled to their time after he was almost killed in the ending) and UA-camrs and people basically said jeanne was just spirit projecting the whole time explaining why jeanne just disappeared in space
Probably not… Considering they were never a relationship or ever into each other… it’s literally fucking canon that she’s straight… her love interest was always Luka and that was pretty damn obvious since bayonetta one
@@MAHKUN0 everyone sees that different, but *IMO* she had no romantic feelings towards him, and just teased with him. Whether or not it's Canon now, That whole relationship makes no sense between her and him no matter what you could possibly do to justify it.
@@JeanneCutieJ that doesn’t make logical sense… You guys said she was lesbian like it was canon… Regardless of the fact that she wasn’t lesbian and her being straight is Canon… So don’t give me that “she’s straight NOW” bs… she always was..also.. her being straight and liking a man doesn’t “destroy women empowerment”… If anything, it’s strengthens it. The bozo in this video said that… Fucking insane.
@@JeanneCutieJ Remember that this Luka and Cereza are from different timeline. They're not the ones we know from B1 and B2. Btw this Bayonetta is the young Cereza from B1.
@@mehditouijar2558 That's because the official artbook "The Eyes of Bayonetta 3" isn't out yet, believe it or not. That one has 300 or so pages, 100 pages more than the Trinity Masquerade Edition's book.
I get the Viola concerns but this point gives her somewhere to grow, she's like 18 and still learning but she's going to have to grow into that shit quickly. Also Baal Zebul is my drag mother, that is all
This ending has such a strange error that everything could be different, when the singularity dies and a portal opens the viola is pulled through the portal, but neither Bayonetta, nor luka nor the demon are pulled either and worse when Luka catches it Viola and puts her on the ground, the portal is still open and Viola is not pulled through the portal again, she just stays there on the ground, and to make matters even worse is the fact that both 4 (bayonetta, Viola, Luka and the demon were very close) in time for Luka to get Bayonetta, then run and get the viola and there was still time to attack the demon.
Okay the dance at the very end like in bayonetta 1 was like rubbing salt and lemon in the wound after they literally killed off Bayonetta. Like...I'm still not over the death. It was sad. I will admit that the dance just bayonetta alone was very beautiful but the other one was rubbing salt in the wound...WITH LEMON JUICE!! IM NOT OVER IT!!
@@ceizhore4498 if you're talking about the bayonetta at the start of the game, that isn't bayonetta 1. that's viola's bayonetta. she looks exactly like her though except from her having a different set of guns, no beauty mark and has 2 ribbons in her hair (bayonetta 1 gave little cereza one ribbon from her hair to use as a necklace in the first game)
This game brings out an anger I honestly didn't know I had in me. My first reaction to this games was "Why did ANY of that need to happen?" I genuinely don't how they concocted a story beat that makes me ask "Does this belong in a Bayonetta game?" And honestly if I keep rage typing, I wont stop. So I'll just stop myself now lmao
I’m still questioning the decision to make Brave Cereza get with luka? From what we can tell, this is the same Cereza that was raised/babysat by Luka in Bayo 1, so why would Kamiya decide to get them together? And I know a lot of the reasonings can be chalked up to it being a different timeline, but it’s just weird
Viola will NEVER be Bayonetta, NEVER, I refuse to acknowledge her existence as the "new" Bayonetta Also didn't Kamiya say that Viola will just be a side character in Bayonetta 4?
Viola was an ass character I agree. And her gameplay is trash she doesn’t control well. She literally added nothing to the story other than an obstacle.
Lacroix, sis this game's story be locked behind notepads and catalogues like final fantasy 13. This initially felt like heaven turning into a nightmare that eventually leads into a sleep paralysis scenario inviting us to hell.
It doesn’t make sense to kill off Bayonetta when you know everyone loves her and literally replace her with some basic girl and have her be called Bayonetta.
4:08:50 all the Bayonetta's and Jeanne are in this shot but Viola, in the farthest bottom right, is conveniently hidden from Nem's background is just perfect 😂
i feel like the game was supposed to be longer but they had to cut it due to their budget, otherwise i don’t see how platinum is okay with having an ending that badly put together
There’s actually evidence of cut chapters ppl have found after datamining the game. Also Rosa’s Madama and Jeanne demon summoning voice lines hinting that at one point she was gonna be playable in story chapters.😢
@@jrreplays77 very disappointed with the game after you beat it because in 2 after you beat hard mode you can play as Rosa, with Jean you get so many outfits, bayos alternative outfits were so much more fun (incredibly limited in this game) and the missing factor of finding Lps for hidden weapons was so underwhelming there’s almost nothing to do once you beat the game
Well, it is Platinum Games, their writting has never been stellar quality, especially the longer their games continue to go on. But Bayo 3, I have to admit, was such a drop in quality, script wise.
I really hate this whole thing, i've read fanfics that were more coherent, cohesive and in-character than the entirety of Bayonetta 3, i've seen literal OC characters that are much better developed and designed than Viola 💀💀💀 If they're trying to kill off the franchise they should just say so instead of whatever this was, the whole "don't play 4 if you don't like the ending" is so petty and childish, i knew Kamiya was a manchild but this is a whole other level of clownery... If he's not gonna take criticism at all how about he does things right then? Like idk, not treating like trash the main reason people even play this franchise to begin with, if gameplay is all there's gonna be to it from now on i'd rather play so many different games than "Violetta 4" or whatever it's gonna be
To give everyone more information on the finale, this is accurately what happened: When bayonetta was fighting singularity in space, he said that he can alter phenomenal, which means that bayonetta took advantage of it. As you can see, when singularity was glitching, bayo was changing his phenomenal. Even he points out that she outstrip (being faster than him) his ability to alter phenomenal (and cerezita says "you haven't been paying attention ")as all of the previous ach eves that died came back alive and their worlds. The reason why they had the blue looking aura around them is because they were fighting singularity from their worlds. So even after singularity knocks them down and when they fade away, they didn't die, they just went back to their original worlds. So if you can take that into account, jeanne came back alive as well since at the end when she finished fighting singularity she just went back to her world. This can be supported when you take into account what singularity says about his phenomenal affermations changing when bayo 1 and 2 come to help cerezita. And as to what happened to the other 2 bayos that fought along side to beat singularity with cerezita, they just went back to their own worlds as well. Hopefully this gives you guys more information on what happened :D Also, when you finish the game you can see a picture that viola placed on her desk, and if you look carefully she is wearing her luka scarf and in the background you can see a woman with black hair. Which implies this could be cerezita who came back alive :)
The ending isn’t just bad…it’s outright insulting. Idk what the intention of the creators of Bayonetta was but to me and alot of other queer people, she always seemed to be queer coded in someway. She’s so comfortable in her sexuality and she’s a total badass. The only character she has ever had any chemistry with is Jeanne and Luca was always a tease. So for them to kill Jeanne and make LucaxBayo canon is just straight up homophobic imo. Viola is awful. No redeemable qualities, just outright aggravating. A lot of people compare her to Nero in devil may cry, but I dont see it. Nero at least had some likability. I get they are trying to make her the “witch in training” and that shell eventually reach her potential, but i dont care. I dont like anything about her so even if she “eventually” becomes a badass like her mom so what. I dont want it. There’s a lot to like about this game but the ending basically ruins all of it. If Viola is the main character in Bayo 4 I don’t see it being a success because a LOT of people hate her and her gameplay. Also I really noticed that Bayo is very toned down in this game. She still had some sexual moments but she wasn’t as much of a tease or as playful as the ones in 1&2. It felt almost like Nintendo was wanting to censor as much as they could without losing the fanbase…but then this is the ending we get.
I dunno on the "censorship" part. Bayonetta 2 was published exclusively by Nintendo as well and in 2's development, Nintendo never demanded Platinum to tone down the game, in fact they told them to do the game they wanted without restraint. In terms of character coding, I think a lot of wires get crossed and lost-in-translation issues happen. We can't forget the Bayo games were developted by a Japanese media company. The character tropes for Bayo and Luka tend to be parings in romantic context in japanese media, as much as I don't care for romance in these games, it's one of those things that gets lost in translation. I wouldn't go out on a limb to call this Bayo/Luka thing homophobic because one, their sexual orientations are never confirmed as queer and two, Bayo/Jeanne have never been canon in the first place. Bayo doesn't strike me as the type to care for intimate relationships anyway, her flirtations and sensualities are as much of a weapon as her guns are. Which brings me to my main point which is, Bayo 3's script is all sorts of messy and unpolished. I don't think there was any maliciousness in it's making, just incompetence.
@@danieldsantiagorodriguez4955 not all Japanese tropes follow through. They made it obvious the og bayo wasn't into her Luka romantically." Bayo/Jeanne never would've happened." Yeah no... Kamiya the dev team official artwork, the og producer, Helena Taylor, Mari shimazaki, Lukas journal entry in bayo, and eyes of Bayonetta comments in the art book too have all confirmed it was a thing... Meanwhile up till now Luka has had literally nothing but him getting humiliated when he had a moment. He barely interacted in 3 as well....
@@drewhaynes1874 not sure if you're responding to me... My thesis was that the script for this game was messy and that calling the Bayo/Luka pairing homophobic was a strech. Personally, I neither see it nor care for either of the ships. And when it comes to the 2 and 3 games, Bayonetta has very little interactions with Jeanne as well as she does Luka. As for the "official" artwork you mentioned, that was drawings Mari did but didn't make part of official releases. It's as much canon as the My Hero Academia "official" art that illustrators do of their favorite ships. As for the other stuff you mentioned, you'd need to be more specific about it, I don't know of every thing and instance fans point to as "canon confirmation" even though it tends to be either very vague or not even in the games most of the time. Look, I've no problem if people ship either pair, I'll say what I've said to others before, you don't need the canon's confirmation or validation to enjoy your personal fantasies about a character. Bayonetta as a character and story have little to do with romantic involvement, I think it takes away from the character regardless of who she's with. However, if fans wanna have a fantasy about that, fair enough but for a sector of the fandom to make this online display of shock and anger at not having their head canons validated is rather odd and misplaced. Like, the Bayo games aren't about that, they never have been. Even if Bayo ended up with Jeanne in this game, the script would be just as messy and poorly done as the one we got.
I dont really see why they would kill her off. Bayonetta is so loved as a character and also a very unique character that it makes absolutely no sense to end the story with her dying. Its not really built up either that shes going to die. Viola wasnt involved enough to foreshadow her taking over. If they just took out the part of her demon going rogue at the end and attacking her it honestly would not change almost anything. If they kept her alive they could just have her mentor Viola more in the future games.
Let's be honest this was the worst ending in gaming history and it will stay like this cause in the next 6 games(kamiya said he's still working on bayonetta 9)we might be forced to play V!ola
Though I hated a lot of what they did with the ending, I wouldn't say it's the worst ending in videogame history. Ever heard of Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday? That game was unabashed character assasination of every single character and spat on every great thing every previous game established by erasing it with some time travel BS.
@@alonsohernandezmartinez7254 See, Viola has no personality. She just takes traits from a much more beloved character and calls it her own. Then they try to pull the whole, she earned the family name thing, despite getting her butt handed to her in every scene she is in. She doesn't even play an active role in her story. Jeanne had more urgency than Viola in the plot.
I highly doubt viola will be the new protagonist since the multiverse concept literally gives so many possibilities, I’m thinking she might even be a guider or teacher for newer bayonettas or failing universes or something like that?
The bosses from the first two games are gone. Jubileus is destroyed and aesirs trapped in a time loop. Rodins bio states counterparts only apply to the human world's. There's only one rodin 1 jubileus and one aesir. The new bayo never fought them as she had no clue what Loki's cards where at the beginning. This bayo also survived the witch-hunts "together" with Jeanne when that wasn't the original case with the og from 1+2 also It's been confirmed this bayo isn't the one from the previous games! This Luka also isn't the og one as his skin is darker and his scars are in different areas vs the og Luka. I can stomach this better now. Just hate they tried to use out of context shreenshots from the previous games to reinforce that they had chemistry... And the multiverse was restored all the bayos on the moon live again, Jeanne was also restored. This Bayo died and stayed dead because she wasn't killed by singularity directly.
The ONLY reason I put up with Viola is because the great Brizzy Voices does her voice over. While she was pretty much a useless plot point character, I am not completely unhappy with her. She is young and dumb and that's how everyone starts out as. If she is in the next game, I hope they explore more of her abilities and make her much more experienced. I think the issue was they put WAY too much of Luka's character in her. Kamiya himself also said that the ending was terrible and that it did not get represented the way it was originally intended.
Also this might be a spoiler for previous games, but it is theorized that this Bayonetta is actually the young child version of Bayonetta grown up which explains why her and Bayonetta 1's personality is so different. I mean, their hairstyles are the exact same so it seems like it could be legit. Which makes the relationship with her and Luka even more sketchy 🤣
Tbh I think it's insulting and kinda weird and sexist that the only kinda masc woman in the game is a weird, manic pixie dreamgirl joke. Viola could have been really cool as a butch umbra witch, but they missed that chance!
I was litterally in the same state as you after the Baal Zebul moment, I was shaking and crying of excitement, that was so good !! I thought the same thing, for me it's top 5 best video games moments ! Especially as a gay man myself fan of drag, Baal Zebul is an icon for me !! :D I just discovered your channel, I love it, thank you very much !
Kamiya and the other male directors just wanted to Fridge an AMAZING FEMALE CHARACTER, to replace her with a masculine and dorky witch/"fairy" hybrid. They literally made Bayonetta a CANONICAL STRAIGHT BREEDER and then murdered her in ALL THE MULTIVERSES. Like I'm sorry, but we don't need another cookie-cutter male/masculine lead. They could've kept the heart and soul of this amazing game series, but no, they wanted to break it down and throw it in the fans' faces.
Like after the end of bayo 2 and 1 the dance sequence its happy and you want to play more, for this one its like nah i want a refund, hope they respect all the feedback they are receiving after this shit show they made
If they wanted us to like Viola, this game should've been about 6 chapters longer with Viola having actual sections of gameplay that you could get used to her and explore her character more. DMC 5 did this very well with 3 protagonists Where you played with a character for about 3 levels then switched, then the rest of the game you could play down any of the 3's seperate paths until the end of the game.
Lemme just clear up: Bayo 1 and Bayo 2 are both lesbians and are in a committed relationship and live together with their Jeannes, and only flirt and tease their Lukas. Bayo 3 was never sealed for 500 years so she doesn’t have that much of a close relationship with her Jeanne, but seems to be more attracted with her Luka. Now for Bayonetta 4, I can see two options that Platinum Games could take: 1) Continue Viola’s story and try to save Bayo 3’s soul in the inferno and eventually you’ll be able to play as Bayo 3 again (The same setup as DMC 4 with Nero & Dante) 2) A entirely new Bayo in a new universe. Also you have to realize that each Bayo from Bayonetta 1, 2, and 3 are all different. Bayo 1 is more playful and very sexual, Bayo 2 is more emotional when it comes to people close to her dies (like when Loki “fake” drowns or when Jeanne didn’t wake up asap once reunited with her soul, and Bayo 3 is more of completing the mission over anything else like when she didn’t show much emotions when she witnessed her variants die or when she found out her Jeanne died or didn’t hesitate on killing Luka if Viola couldn’t keep his werewolf powers under control.
I'd like to mention this because I don't think anyone else has but from other in-game info it tells us that the other worlds and bayo's were restored after defeating singularity so at least there's that. All the bayo's lived except this universes one
Also, they say this Bayonetta is the best version of all of them. No, she isn't. By the end she even needed the help of the Gay Bayonetta's versions. XD And about having to change the protagonist, look: DMC 4 introduced Nero, forced us to play with him for HALF of the game, and he felt like a toned down Dante's version. Viola feels like a Super Toned Down version of Nero, and that's a problem. IF they had introduced her this game, to make we fall in love for her while she has character development, yeah I could see her as a replacement on Bayonetta 5. But the way they did. It smells like rushed development, and badly writting from a man who want to demoralize a woman. That's what it feels.
I'm sorry but NO AMOUNT of Werewolf Butterfly Glow Up can make me even consider LUKA of all people was cool enough to get someone like Bayonetta! AND I'M A FURRY! I hate the fact that Kamiya wants to make a game with Viola as a main character to carry on the name of BAYONETTA. Why did he ever think people want to trade Bayonetta the baddest bitch in gaming for her supposed dorky comedic side character of a daughter??? I could have been ok with Viola getting the name Violetta because that way it would have been her carrying a piece of her mom and being her own person. But the fact that they gave her Bayonettas name and she acts just like her loser of a father just destroys me. I can't play this game or the next, this was an awful way to end a trilogy for one of the greatest female game characters.
I wonder why they make the game this way. Dmc make the game way better. They introduced Nero in Dmc4. At least Nero is not a joke character. But unlike Bayonetta, why they put a joke character in serious game? What is the goal here? I compared these 2 games because the Kamiya made these. I know he only involved in first dmc but still
Your outfit slays and I feel you in regard to the ending. Ket's just hope it got retcon in future installments. Not sure if it'll at least make your day but in theory all of the other bayonetta and jeanne was revived when they were released from sigurd. So the only casualty in the game would have been Luka and Cereza

2:31:05 The REALEST reaction to her death.
Thats nemesis villain origin story. I Just love to see her Will tô live disappearing from her eyes
the ending was excruciating
(but by our knowledge for our Bayonetta she is sealed away for 500 years)
Although when it comes to Brave Jeanne of her timeline she might not be dead at all but instead reforming in this timeline since "Phenomenal affirmations weren't absolute" as said by our Bayonetta when their universes were believed to be destroyed long ago.

When I tell you Jeanne and Bayonetta would have made SO MUCH MORE SENSE then whatever bullshit we all saw

To give everyone more information on the finale, this is accurately what happened:
When bayonetta was fighting singularity in space, he said that he can alter phenomenal, which means that bayonetta took advantage of it.
Hopefully this gives you guys more information on what happened :D
Also, when you finish the game you can see a picture that viola placed on her desk, and if you look carefully she is wearing her luka scarf and in the background you can see a woman with black hair.
It felt almost like Nintendo was wanting to censor as much as they could without losing the fanbase…but then this is the ending we get.
the dancing right after Viola is crowned the next "Bayonetta" was so nasty
Our original bayonetta from 1 wouldn't left anyone her name.
STOP MAKING VIOLA HAPPEN. SHE' S NOT GONNA HAPPEN. 🙄🙄🙄
3:40:31 Deny, Bargaining, Anger , Depression and Acceptance in less than 2 minutes lmao
Nemesis echoed the thoughts of a whole fandom with the destruction of those Nendoroids. What a shit ending.
I'd rather have a game of Enzo and Rodin than VIOLA😂

The only Bayonettas that made it to the end were the ones that had contracts with Madama Butterfly because they were the most powerful ones
And the Smartest too
Let's be honest this was the worst ending in gaming history and it will stay like this cause in the next 6 games(kamiya said he's still working on bayonetta 9)we might be forced to play V!ola

Though I hated a lot of what they did with the ending, I wouldn't say it's the worst ending in videogame history. Ever heard of Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday? That game was unabashed character assasination of every single character and spat on every great thing every previous game established by erasing it with some time travel BS.
is not that bad, honestlly I didnt like that the endings are always happy, also viola is super young still missing that his personality comes out
@@alonsohernandezmartinez7254 See, Viola has no personality. She just takes traits from a much more beloved character and calls it her own. Then they try to pull the whole, she earned the family name thing, despite getting her butt handed to her in every scene she is in. She doesn't even play an active role in her story. Jeanne had more urgency than Viola in the plot.
I would’ve had all Bayonettas and Jeanne survive and beat the shit out of Singularity by summoning Queen Sheba
Singularity foresaw what happened at the end of Bayonetta 3 and wanted to destroy everything to prevent it.
This bayo also survived the witch-hunts "together" with Jeanne when that wasn't the original case with the og from 1+2
also It's been confirmed this bayo isn't the one from the previous games!

They could've kept the heart and soul of this amazing game series, but no, they wanted to break it down and throw it in the fans' faces.
"I WON'T PLAY THE NEXT GAME!" That's IF we get Bayonetta 4.
Kamiya has a humiliation kink there’s no other explanation
Girl the way you Went off about the ending was 100% facts!! u got a sub
Different reaction of hell's hand
Every angel defeated: drag down immediately
Bayonetta dead: ok let just give them a moment to kiss
Yeah the multiverse storyline for me is like meh
its so cheap imho
Viola is a child right now, so let's hope her growth is more lady like than just delinquent in bayo 4, please platinum.
Lemme just clear up:
Bayo 1 and Bayo 2 are both lesbians and are in a committed relationship and live together with their Jeannes, and only flirt and tease their Lukas.
Bayo 3 was never sealed for 500 years so she doesn’t have that much of a close relationship with her Jeanne, but seems to be more attracted with her Luka.
Now for Bayonetta 4, I can see two options that Platinum Games could take:
1) Continue Viola’s story and try to save Bayo 3’s soul in the inferno and eventually you’ll be able to play as Bayo 3 again (The same setup as DMC 4 with Nero & Dante)
2) A entirely new Bayo in a new universe.
Oh nvm I just noticed someone in chat said it
Love your stream
The reactions about Viola is the reason that I kept watching, otherwise I would’ve clicked something else. Like you said: she is a joke.
FRENCH BAYONETTA DOES LOOK LIKE MARIO PARTY 8 GUY LMAOOOOO
Can Bayo 4 just be about Baal Zebul instead of flopiola?
LIVING for this reaction to the ending. My EXACT reaction
Out of all the Demons, the Clock tower is EXTREMELY useful, since it can activate Witch time when pressing the jump button
Cheese rodin
Your reaction to Viola's name was amazing. I loved it and it was funny. Guess I gotta sub now lol
Delete Viola ♡ she is not bayonetta
Also, they say this Bayonetta is the best version of all of them. No, she isn't. By the end she even needed the help of the Gay Bayonetta's versions. XD
And about having to change the protagonist, look: DMC 4 introduced Nero, forced us to play with him for HALF of the game, and he felt like a toned down Dante's version.
Right! I hate Viola she’s just…no
i’m over her i cannot keep talking about it LMAOO

Omg i love the baal zabul performance just delish!
