Client interviews (often called Exploratory Calls in the VA Biz) are crucial to determine if a client is a good fit for your business and vice versa. Thanks to this video, you can take the lead and ask questions to get the interview-ball rolling.
The questions we'll discuss in this video are:
0:00 Intro
0:35 Have you worked with a VA before?

4:10 How do you measure success?
5:10 What are your priorities?

Hi Erin! I am an aspiring VA! I love your tutorials,,It's very concise and very informative,,I have learned a lot from your videos!,,Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I'm so glad to hear the videos are helpful!
Hi Erin! I'm loving your videos. Do you ever share the questions ahead of time with a prospective client so they have time to think about their responses or do you organically ask them during the meeting?
That’s a fantastic question and I do not! Though you could! Personally I try not to send work to clients ahead of time, they’re busy people!
Best to do a screening call with folks and ask questions BEFORE you get involved
Your content is amazing and so very appreciated thank you ! One question, how do you turn down a prospect once you determine they’re not going to be a good fit ?
You can be honest and say something like “after reviewing your needs, I don’t think I’m the best for you. I’m happy to refer you to another VA if you’d like.” A response like that is vague but helpful - and it won’t leave a bad taste in the clients mouth.
Are these questions suitable for when I'm on freelancing platforms too?
Love these questions, can you touch on newsletters and how to create them? Would love that insight.
Yes! I'll add it to my filming list today.
Thank you for this, Erin!
By the way, what are the tools you use to do your videos? Would you consider sharing?

Hi. Very informative video. Thank you. One question: What is the best way to manage multiple businesses diaries?
You must be British? In the US, a diary is something a little girl writes and keeps secret 😊
What if you've never worked with another client, how do you answer that question?
Hello Erin. Thanks so much for your videos I am learning a lot. Can you help me with some va tasks I can do to help improve myself? Thanks.
