Smart setup 👍. Apps are quick and intuitive to use, and that's exactly what we need for music. I'm using a cheap Android tablet with headphone jack and MIDI controller.
I think the SSL 12 interface is probably better value ($499). ... Plus it has better converters. You could re-sample the same audio 100 times (generations) through the converters and won't hear a hint of signal degradation. It's that good.
Bolo external storage setup? How do you navigate kits.. sequence etc storage to maximize iPad processing? I’ll look through older vids sure you covered this topic before
@@BoloDaProducer newer, more powerful iPads probably send enough juice to it... my M1 probably would work without however, it's certainly best practice to add power to the hub for devices that draw power... Salute
All this this stuff is good. You don't need all these gadgets to make beats. Just stick to your mpc x and reason or FL studio. You don't Need all these machine to make beats. Just use what you are comfortable with. Then you will be on your way
No you don’t but there’s a huge iOS production community that I’ve been apart of since 2013. I’ve been covering iPad stuff for years now and to make this statement undermines a lot of producers who uses this production platform.

Hey Bolo, quick question. Does Beatmaker 3 seem to work better for you on the new iPad compared to your old one? I ask because I still have an old iPad from 2021 and Beatmaker 3 just doesn’t work as well as it did when I first got it. Dope content as always brother. Salute.
Bolooo ! Please I’m trying to create a new workflow connecting Maschine Plus to Beat Maker 3 . Can you please make a quick video on that ? Or maybe tell me if you’ve tried that before?
my ipad has cancelled out my desk top for music not even in Cubase no more ive cut it down just got machine plus mpc one plus and ipad my old samplers like my akai s3000xl and 5000xl packed away among other things i got more space and less wires i really enjoy using logic pro wiv the mpc and machine

A while back on the Beatmaker 3 vid he explained a version of this setup is used when he is traveling or in the studio when he is out of town and doesn’t have the rest of his gear. So probably when he’s chilling and not in his studio, and probably whenever he travels.
Only thing is it doesn’t have the apps. I like the iPad Air. Im actually gonna pick one up. But its the apps I like and its the best choice for me when I travel 👍🏾
I watch a lot of your videos, but the one thing I hate is that it feels as though you’re getting paid for advertising for companies rather than showing what your setup is. Do you use the presonis, the audient or the volt276 as your interface, it seems to change each time you show an update.
Hey there, i bought a presonus quantum es2 and plugged it straight into my ipad. I could NOT get direct monitoring working. (Although direct monitoring is working when connected to my PC) Do you have any suggestions? Do i need a USB hub like you have?
Really dope showcase, I like this because everyone’s starting point is different and this type of setup can go a long way. 👍🏾 🖲️ mice are great, I can never go back to a regular one. Also the NI M32 is an amazing keyboard, truly the best for the price imo.
Nice to see the iPad gettin some love! A lot of AUv3 plug-ins run on Mac too so you can get the same sounds on both platforms 😀

Alright your ipad content is theeeeee best
That beat is fire 🔥
Thanks!
Is that USB hub powered, I had to get a powered HUB because I noticed the midi controller was going in and out
No it’s not powered
I would suggest a powered one
The ligtning ipads have that issue. I haven't had that issue with my m1 pro

I like it, not sure if i have the skill level yet, but i want to try on the guitar.
What app is that? Maybe I missed the call out
BeatMaker 3 still goin strong
What about the iPad mini 7, have you tried making beats on it?
The quantum is expensive. I would hope it very very good. I like your setup, thanks for the video.

What’s the stand and cover you have on the pad?
Presonus stepped up their line of interfaces big time that is for sure. That setup is awesome!
Yes they did!!!
I'm convinced!

NO. It's smaller slightly and do all the same functions. The 13 cost way more for not much more screen space
