- Whoever thought of putting blue cheese with green veg! I salute you. This is a favourite starter at gatherings in my family. Hope you like it, and look out for Sydney in this film too.

Remember to use a deep pan, to prevent burning yourself when blending it!

Such a good combination! yummy looking food, handsome man cooking it and cute puppy! I am so glad I subscribed I have been looking for a good cooking channel and leave it to Becky to recommend a fantastic one! I really like how the videos aren't lengthy, right to the point!
Ah Gillian. You have made my day!! I'm framing the word Handsome (Syd's mighty pleased at cute puppy too!). Really glad you're liking the recipes. Becky is such a gem, isn't she? Makes me laugh, adore her. Thanks for subscribing and the feedback. Means a ton! Sacha x
I made this soup today and it was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the recipe Sacha :)
Thank you for the feedback !
Another of my favorites, I will have to try this when hubby's away, he hates "smelly cheese" I love it, and can't wait to give it a try xxx
I love strong cheese ! The great thing with homemade soups is you can freeze them and enjoy them quickly whenever you need later :-)
Made this yesterday and it's absolutely delicious! Thanks Sacha's Dad.
So happy that you like it ! Thank you for watching :)
Hi Zena, I can't reply to your email as your privacy setting are blocking me :-(
Sorry about that Sacha: it's off now so it should let you do anything!
:-)
OMG I love your videos !!! This was the first video I watched. I was wondering how many people will the recipe serve. Cause I will be making only for myself. Take Care, Byeee.
Love,
Candy
If you follow this you'll make enough for 8 people, so just scale back to suit yourself. This will also freeze for use at another time. :-)
Looks so nice
It tastes even better, honest :)
And Sydney is so cute. Much love to her too. XO girl.
I will pass your love along ! Off out of a walk with her shortly :-)
Hi Sacha I'm going to do this. Also, Becky wants to ask for a carrot cake mmmmm. Thanks
Hi Matt, thanks for joining my channel - I hope you enjoy the cooking ! I am working on the Carrot Cake for Becky ;-)
It taste's so good! are you related to Jamie Oliver
One of my favourite soups! Could you do this in a slow cooker do you think?
Absolutely. It'll take a bit longer... but keep it on high, until the Broccolli is tender. then reduce to low for when you add the cream and stilton. You could boil it down more than i did. My version makes enough for six, but if you want it thicker it could work just as well for four. (and it freezes brilliantly! if you're packing a student freezer!!) : )
Ah great! Yeah I love being able to just up together a soup or casserole type dish in the morning and have it ready for a reward when I'm done working for the day :) might give this one a go!
Great plan. If you're going to leave it all day while studying, i recommend a few changes: put it on low. The broccoli will literally be falling apart by the time you're home. Let it cool, when you're in - then Blend it - and THEN add the cream, and cheese in big chunks. Then whack it up to high. Because you've blended it before adding the cheese you won't need to blend it again, but the cheese will add a few chunks for texture, and it'll warm it all up before you eat it! Blending it and adding cool cheese and cream will of course have cooled it massively.
I use my slow cookers lots, so look out for more of these style recipes coming up... AND - I'm looking at doing some good cheap, filling meals as have lots of friends at Uni at the mo, looking to cook once - to create meals for several days or to cook for a household at once : ) So I'll flag those up to you too. Any particular things you like? Had a request already for a simple chilli!
Ah that sounds fabulous! I love chilli too :) i know lots of my friends at uni used to try and cook a Sunday roast for their housemates so maybe something like that, but that doesn't require a big impressive kitchen? I think that's my personal set back - I have big ideas but a small student kitchen!
Hahahah hilarious
