Some people or situations can bring out more your introverted or extroverted side A part of it like katya said is that we often just like to keep free time free and not book up every free day and plan everything out. It feels so good to not have to do anything and having the freedom to do what you want in that moment or even just "do nothing", which can be an important part of keeping up your productivity the rest of the time
As an introvert, this is exactly how I feel. I don't have a social life because I like it that way. I like to be alone in my room, eating snacks and watching stuff, maybe playing video games. If you wanna come hang and share my free time with me, that's cool, but don't assume I want to do something or I need to be doing something or going out because you choose to do so.
I always tell people I don’t reach out not because I don’t care but because all the things I wanna do are at home. They are more then welcome to come over and watch a movie but I’m not trying to leave my house and interact when all the interactions I want are at home.
Ugh, I also hate when people I’m familiar with ask when I’m not busy so that they can also take time out of their day to spend time with me and bond: Jesus those people are the worst
