If kingstreet and bathurst street are in the game, they would be a great tutorial. Kingstreet would teach players moving objects, social engineering, takedowns, pickpocketing, cams operators and the "calm" radio check, and searching for items like keys. Bathurst street would teach players how to "properly" avoid cameras and guards, create distractions, hack, and also the entire hacking system in this level would make newer players get more ideas on possible routes they can take instead of just following a tutorial
the map in the demos might get outdated in the final game, also they are just testing levels for Cish to test their scripts. not every map needs to look like dev-textures map rooms yknow So highly doubt these will be in the final game, but i think Operators too will have a freelancer esque tutorial?

There's a thing next to the cam op room (which is fairly easy to access), that lets you traverse + hack into a laptop and the server, making it really good, and eliminating the need to go into the basement at all.

Tip: if you kill the person who is about to enable the power box, you can enable the box yourself. You can also shoot the access points and power boxes which disables them permanently.

The maps you know now (Calais, Cape May, Swan Sea) would be barred behind a paywall, if not for their change of heart. Cish also seems committed to this project to make it welcoming and refreshing to veteran EP players.

@@Unofficial_YT Fair enough, hacking is so broken that I just beat the mission using only drill and keycard (no gun, with drill breaking 1 door and luring 1 guard later), without even stepping foot into the basement at all. I climbed onto the roof of the far building, tampered with power to lure a guard to open one of the doors, went in, used drill on a keycard door that leads into a side room with an unlocked door into the cam room. Then I went through the cam room (pickpocketing the guard in there), to the small room adjacent with an access node, using it to hack into the system, and eventually reach the laptop in its range (I also lowered security level because why not). This access node will also eventually be used to remotly access the server (massive security flaw tbh). Then I went over to the building near spawn, drilled the front door until guard was lured out, went through the now unlocked door to the laptop, and the rest was just remote hacking to the server and planting the spyware remotly, never even entering the basement.
I haven't learned anything from this lol. Explaining stuff is pretty much bad for this game or it's just that you need to have to play instead. Also, correction: this game takes place in entry point timeline and takes time during the shadow war. I also think that the player is actually freelancers friend, because cishshato said that there will be many connections. Also, why do you love Jackdaw? He is literally the most selfish character! Proof: intentionally put Rose to danger by making her a double agent. He *FORCED* her. He also didn't even care about his friend, the Director, who was really close to him. He also have murdered many Halcyon ruthless operatives, and if you think that that's bad, then look at Dmitry - family guy, died. And there are Technicians and Analysts in Halcyon, who are the same like Dmitry: need money, have family, won't hold a gun. Also we can see in sunset cutscene that Jackdaw thinks that it's "his fault" for losing Rose and Freelancer, which is absolutely right. He was the one who started war. He could have lived in peace. He forced Rose to be an agent and made her into huge danger. He put Freelancer into the same thing. Now tell, what do you like about this selfish guy who puts everyone into deadly danger, have murdered multiple pacifist families, and to settle all that... It was his choice and he made this decision to murder everyone.

Pure trial-and-error is not recommended though. 2: It is technically in the same universe, but I doubt the connection will be so direct. 3: There's a difference between an evil character and a poorly written one. Jackdaw is definitely evil but he's also a complex character with understandable motivations even if not justified ones. He didn't force Rose to be a double agent: he persuaded her. But yes, there's conflict between them and he's manipulative. I recommend the 'Confession' Lock code.

It was just Rose and Jackdaw calling others and there was a lot that Rose was literally just not wanting to do it, he just pushed her into it, with no way out. For the motivations, there are no good. Afterall, he haven't changed. He was a ruthless operative murdering for money, and that turned into a ruthless operative murdering not only his jobs, but also friends. Being given life of peace but murdering friends, making mystakes that you can't revert. But important is that he knew it already. He knew his choice and made sure it's going to be done no matter if he realises that Rose is still loyal to Halcyon, he just murders anyone who goes into his path and that just doesn't change him, he knew what he was doing and allllll just because... ? Selfish revenge.

For example, if my favorite character is Big Boss from MGS don't mean am ok with with use of child soldier, PMC or build a nuke (lol) and commit severe war crimes. The same can apply with any fiction character.
