    Excellent explanations! BMS looks awsome! A bit too much for our use but we have the BCDC1240D and we are really happy with this Redarc product! Greetings from Switzerland!

    Very cool setup, here in the usa we are excited to have the redarc technology now. I Just did the bcdc1225d install with solar and it’s awesome. so I can only imagine how good the manager 30 is.

      Great news, glad to hear you're happy with your BCDC. We can't wait to see how people react to the Manager30 in North America, we know they'll love it. Thank you for your support!

    Enjoyed the vid, only small issue is that there are so many channels pushing Redarc management systems. It stops being fun. Is this a budget friendly system? Is this a starter kit for the newbie? Despite ur knowledge or comprehensive insight on the unit? Personally i like to know everything i can and What's its function. Not everyone can afford these systems. There are alternatives but I'm certain we won't see any of those. But ur average Joe's understand. Good vid...

    Why did you need the solar regulator and the battery isolator when the bcdc has a mppt solar regulator built in. Maybe a change over relay in the earlier models. The battery isolated is a charging system on its own i thought.

      The first redarc bcdc dc to dc chargers did not have the dual input.. newer ones now do, bcdc1225d for example. I guess when he first went to his local electrical shop the dual wasn't available??, but true, the newer ones do not need a solar regulator...

    Hello. Great video, great job! What kind of circuit breaker do you use? What is their function?
    What would be the indication for use with manager 30, BCDC1225 and 2000W inverter? thanks !!!

    • @REDARCElectronics
      @REDARCElectronics  4 роки тому +1

      For any DC-DC installation (including BCDC and Manager 30) REDARC recommend using MIDI fuses. For the Manager30, a 50 amp MIDI for the input and a 40 amp MIDI for the output. If you would like assistance with what you may require for your build, please contact our helpful Tech Support Team who will be more than happy to walk you through the best setup to suit your needs.

    Thanks for putting this together. Great, easy to understand explanation from Justin. Been a huge fan of his company for awhile. Any plans for a Redarc pure sine wave inverter for The US Market to round out the offering?

    Love the integration but does Redarc offer a version with 120 volt charger for us American blokes?

    • @REDARCElectronics
      @REDARCElectronics  4 роки тому

      Hi Fletcher, thank you for the message. We certainly do offer this to suit US needs. You can find it at redarcelectronics.com/products/the-manager30

    why do you use a mppt reg when the redarc bcdc1225d has a mppt built in ?.... bit missleading mate

    • @REDARCElectronics
      @REDARCElectronics  3 роки тому

      Hi Azza, thanks for watching! The products shown before the Manager30 are a representation of the items that may be required to get the same function that the Manager30 has - you are correct the BCDC1225D shown does indeed have a dedicated solar input, but is simply part of the demonstration that methods for charging from DC, Solar, and AC Mains can be consolidated into one unit.
      Thanks for the support of our Australian made gear, any questions our Tech Support Team are more than happy to assist in our head office.

    What batwing awning is that with the articulating arm mount that you keep raising and showing on the trailer ? I want to mount a 270 awning but my rack is low and this looks like it raises it before opening it.

    That’s embarrassing. The BCDC is an isolator and Solar charger. So those two aren’t needed. Explain what the relays are for. (Heavy loads) come on guys. Great camper but you should do research before getting in to the tech stuff. I’m sure Redarc reps are cringing watching this.

    • @retepd1e
      @retepd1e 3 роки тому +2

      I was wondering the same Darryl. That’s fooling around. The main difference is the more advanced charging profiles and the display unit. For nearly$400+...it’s embarrassing as you said.

      Agreed, seems like there just trying to make it more complicated than needed. The redarc channel is much better sourse for info.

    Can the manager30 manage an AGM starter battery, and lithium house battery?

    • @REDARCElectronics
      @REDARCElectronics  4 роки тому

      Thank you for watching, Marcus. The Manager30 only manages the house battery, while the vehicle's alternator manages the start battery. If you'd like to discuss further please feel free to contact our helpful Tech Support Team and they'll be more than happy to assist over the phone.

    Is the Manager30 field serviceable?

    • @REDARCElectronics
      @REDARCElectronics  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Marcus, thank you for the enquiry.
      The Manager 30 is not field serviceable as such. Due to the fact it has a 240v AC board inside. We only recommend that REDARC or a suitably qualified technician perform any work on this product.
