It's a water based acrylic mastic,I highly doubt so mate.

do we need to apply the sealant for both side of the board or one side as shown in the video is enough?

Yes,Batt should be sealed from both sides

maybe around 30 mins, but idk if there's still smoke protection.
actually I dont think there's any unbuttered batt in use anymore.
