Been loading 308s for years. Reloaded Winchester,Remington and Lapua. Lapua is all I buy now. New to the 22-250 game and here to learn. Thank you for the wealth of information you put out that helps us all become better hunters. Do you full length resize and crimp? I FL resize but don’t crimp for my r700
I thought a stiff bolt was a sign of an overpressure situation. When you guys are talking about a stuck bolt, are you also seeing wear signs on the brass around the ejector port? Those two are like big red flags, right? Edit: you guys were talking about using an empty case with a hard to CLOSE bolt. Sorry, I thought you were talking about a hard/stuck bolt after firing. Nvm, y'all go over it later in the podcast. Good stuff!
I've shot the rifling out of my 22-250 Rem 700 VS, 26" barrel with HS stock. Gonna have LRI rebarrel it. You've convinced me to go with a 20" 1-8 twist. Will be shot suppressed only as a handy calling rig, especially at night. Always shot 55gr vmax over Varget, have a metric shitpile of both. What kind of velocity should I expect/ shoot for and what's an estimated barrel life? Also, are yours a standard or match chamber?
Do you guys seem to find accuracy on a specific barrel directly correlated to a specific velocity even with different bullets? I have found that my Wilson combat 223 wylde barrel shoots the tightest groups at about 2700 FPS no matter what bullet I’m reloading. Tested with 50 gr VMax, 69 gr Sierra MK, and 60 gr Sierra GK.

I just found out that the LEE bullet seating die pulls the polymer tips out of the 53 gr vmax. I need to modify it somehow.
Any chance you guys could publish as traditional podcast instead of video? Always enjoy the content regardless. Thanks!
Ya we do on every podcast, it's on the anchor platform, you can listen on itunes, and spotify also.
I was enjoying heading you guys laugh WITH not at the hunters you guide. I want to hear the stories lol
Very informative and a great listen. Come on up to Maine sometime and try your hand on these coyotes! Tricky bastards.

I want to see some of those custom bolt rifles. Awesome podcast guys.
Great video.
Am loving these podcasts guys, have you guys tried the new 53 grain vmax I believe it has a better BC than the 55 thanks in advance from uk 🇬🇧
I got a question. A 1:8 22-250 what would be the difference from a 1:8 22 creedmoor?
I use my 243 win I reload with Sierra bullets pretty impressed with them
Also, the reloaded lapua rounds could have been too long resulting in the bullet seating into the lands. You can get crazy pressure spikes from that.

Yes we have barrels that shoot every bullet with about every safe powder charge!
ONEILLOPS Thank you, looks like it’s time for a new barrel!
custom guns would be good to hear, but hunting stories would be a fun kick back laugh eposide
Noted!
Did you get rid of the juice comment
😆 no it's on the reloading video! Not the podcast.
@@ONEILLOPS Is the reloading video still online? I can’t find a reloading video besides this one on your channel.
From the giddiup, why choose a glass with a handle and not use it? 😂
CFE 223 is not very temp. Stable.
