Skytrain Evergreen Extension-Lougheed Town Centre to Lafarge Lake-Douglas

Here's a full trip eastbound on the Evergreen Extension on a 2 car 2002 Bombardier Mark II from Lougheed Town Centre to Lafarge Lake-Douglas station. I had to use the old iPad for this because my phone died.
The Evergreen Extension is the extension on the Millenium Line in the Tri-Cities. It opened on December 2 with 6 new stations. Eastbound trains originates at VCC-Clark traveling on the existing Millenium Line towards Lougheed Town Centre station.

Please stop at 0:43. Then at 0:44. Why are the rails shaped like that, just before the switch. That looks like a bit of a jump on the rails. I never see that anymore because the trains don't use that way anymore.
