- In this video I make a classic topwater fishing lure. With bright colours, added vibration chamber and a tantilizing action, this bait imitates a wounded baitfish very well.
Please enjoy, and if you do, subscribe for more!

Incredible Work ! really Inspiring !/Paul Roger Nilsson
Thank you!
I see a new hobby coming... although it must be a pain to lose one
It does break the heart 😩
As others have said, the tight walk-the-dog action of this bait is exceptionally good. Have you tried it (or perhaps and even larger version) on New Brunswick's striped bass? If so, was it as effective as I suspect? How would you compare your lure's action to that of the mass-produced (but still very productive) Heddon Zara Spook, which is completely round? Keep up the great work, your neighbor in Maine.
Muito top 👏🎣🐟
I see you use the same saw as Marling ; )
Only the best
Beautiful masterpiece, but why did not tell what are the ingredients while making it? What were those dusts you put in the holes?
Tungsten powder for weight and baking soda for filler.
@@LogjamLures Thank you very much
👋👋 magnífico 👍🎣🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟
Thank you!
Ciao che stucco usi? Grazie mille in anticipo
Where did you get the eye screws? Can they handle salt water?
Moore's Lures. 100% stainless steel so they'll be fine.
Bom trabalho, nado perfeito da isca.
Obrigado!
Amazing work. So impressed. What product is the coat you apply with your finger, please? Keep the topwater lure tutorials coming.
Thank you very much! It's a thin infiltrant from Starbond that waterproofs the wood.
😍

Thanks
Excellent work. I have everything to get started in this hobby. What did you use for the scale texture though?
Thanks David! Try using the mesh from a bag of garlic. Works really well.
Beautiful looking lure. What size rattles do you use on these?
Thank you! I believe this was 3/4” long.
Great job! What nail polish do you use for the final finish if it's not a secret? Thanks!
It's a UV-cured epoxy resin by Alumilite
Your work is wonderful, but how do you choose the size? Please clarify more. Please reply and thank you
Thanks, I appreciate it! The size depends on what kind of fish I'm targeting as well as the size of baitfish in the area I plan on fishing.
Thanks
Great work. What did you use for a weight?
Thank you. I used tungsten powder.
👏👏👏👏
WhAt type of wood do you use?
This one’s made of pine.
I've had all of my other questions answered in the comments but what is the white powder that goes on top of the rattle and the weight? Thanks and keep up the great work!
baking soda
Baking soda. When you add thin superglue it turns hard as rock!
@@LogjamLures Thanks very much! Everything you make is a work of art!
Where do you get those weights in the small container?
The rattle tubes? I get them from amazon.
Where did you get the little tube with knockers in it?
Where do you get the tungsten powder?
Where did you get the uv light box?
The rattles and uv light are both from Amazon. I got the tungsten powder from Alumilite
@@LogjamLures any chance you'd be willing to link them? thanks man

I would use screw eyes around 1 inch long.
Great video. What epoxy do you use for top coat?
Thank you! It's called Alumi-UV from Alumilite.
beautiful indeed but you need a small workshop for this
Thank you! You make do with what you have.
i do this in my bedroom😂
What is the dimensions of this bait?
What is the gray powder?
Tungsten powder for weight.
What type of wood is that?
Pine wood.
What type of wood is that?
Pine wood.
Nice info broh
Thanks man.
What is it that you are using to fill the holes. Vid inspired me to give it a go over the winter and I was thinking of mixing epoxy w sawdust, but that dry mix looks much cleaner than I imagine sawdust and epoxy lol
I use simple baking soda then add enough thin super glue to saturate it. It turns rock hard in just seconds!
All the best with your lure!
Thank you for the reply. Appreciate the information. A awesome stuff. Subscribed
@@thenonconformist4581 No problem, and thanks for the sub!
How much weight do you typically add to a lure this size(looks like a 4 inch) have you made any larger sizes?
Not very much, probably less than 1/2 oz. No larger sizes in this style yet.
What material (for weighting) is used at 4:25 ? Thank you.
It's tungsten powder. Much denser and safer than lead.
Nice work! I have a few questions. What kind of wood do you use? How thick it is? And finally - I wonder what is that dark powder?
Thank you! This one is made of 3/4" pine. The black powder is tungsten powder which is heavier and safer than lead.
Nice work! Do you make your own rattles?
Thank you! The rattles are from Amazon.
What wood are you using mate? Looks soft but not balsa aye?
You're right, it's not. It's eastern white pine, more readily available in my area.
@@LogjamLures cheers man.
Berapakah panjang lure ?
Beeapa lebar lure ?
Dan berapa berat timah belakang yang terpasang ?
What did he use to weight it?
I used tunsgsten powder. It's denser and safer than lead.
