It’s a rebranded Corbin Russwin ML2000 series. ML2051 in this case. It sucks when the latch pops out by itself or that rear piece breaks. PIA to get a closed door open.
@@selock I think you sold me on something else other than Arrow. Mortise locks are something that should never have these issues, just because they are the top dog of the price range (well, barring some of the funky Yale stuff that has special cutouts.)
@@selock I'm guessing $1000-$1200 for a 9200 series lockset with the usual F12 dormitory function (mainly because I'm a klutz, and a F20 likely will mean I lock myself out.)? I know it sounds expensive, especially compared to whatever sits in the cheap parts bin at the hardware store... but it will still be operating 20+ years from now.
Very handy video! 👍
Good to see you don’t have to take the plate off etc! No Boing!!!! Thanks!,
That looks fairly straightforward. Did you do a video of repairing the crap shipping job that found the spring sprung on arrival.
I videoed most of it but final part (the aha! got it moment) didn’t get filmed because I’m a idiot :/
@@selock well i'm sure it won't be the last time your shipped crap 🤣

The one this replaced, the red screw mounting area (crappy pot metal) had shattered into like 4 pieces somehow, only about 1.5 year old :(

What mortise locks would you recommend?
I have to say I’d recommend Sargent, they seem to be the longest lasting but of course the downside is the ridiculous cost :(

Pretty slick how that works, appreciate the demo Jason! How do you like the Vessel driver?
I love all the Vessels I’ve gotten, speaking of its way past time for a screwdriver review video on those!
@@selock woohoo!!! 👍😎
