That drone shot at the end really gave a great example of how small of an area he has crammed so many plants into. Thanks for the inspiration, these are great videos.

Just love Johnny's positivity and enthusiasm. Clearly your climate is far better for trees and perennial crops, compared with our UK climate. So inspirational

look for your Horticultural growing zone, in southern California its 10b and there are plenty of houses that grow food from plants around the world.
You have options, nettles is a good crop when theres more water and it produces thick stems and tastes delicious, and when added to hot water it tastes like artichoke, but you can dry it in the oven and its crisp and you can add it to cakes, just anything that can grow can help

I have an acre, and I’m not utilizing it at all! It blows my mind when I think about what I could grow if I had Johnny’s drive and determination. Great job guys!!

I'm just like Johnny. I plant plans on top of plans and no space is wasted. If most of us do this our health is better than buying GMO food for years and no exercise also keep the earth cooler with many plants. I don't understand why not many people are doing gardening, they like to cut down instead of growing. People like Johnny is the BEST!

We are in the process of planting ours. So far, we have planted Moringa, Mangos, Guavas, bananas, Rose Apples, Kumquats, Cranberry Hibiscus, Red Roselle, Strawberry Guavas, Florida Cherry as well as a vegetable and herb garden. We are adding fruit trees as we can afford them and clear land for them. We are located north of Lake Okeechobee, just south of Heehaw Junction.

Also nice that we got to see his mistakes, and how he course-corrected, so we can see it's not the end of the world to have to plant bananas and sugar cane in place of mangos that didn't make it, could even be blessing in disguise... step #1 you can't go wrong with is start mulching any bare ground you see :)

Very cool! I love the tropical food forests. I planted some food that my parents like but they don’t even want to get outside to pick produce! Haha, I guess more for me... Johnny should look up the pond digger and Aquascape Ponds on UA-cam. That pond needs some love.
