Hello Jimmy, the first time of hearing you play it was luv of your playing and knowledge.Being a git player by ear I wore out your records and tapes God Bless☮️
Check out Jimmy trading blows with organ player Joey DeFrancesco on the track 'Pats House' and his mind blowing speed on 'Unit Seven' Album : 'Like That' Crazy stuff. Just amazing.
Well, only a small percentage of viewers general give a 'like', I think a lot more people than that really enjoyed hearing from Jimmy. I agree, great player and history. We could talk to him a few times and I bet he'd never run out of interesting stories!
Economy picking. You can probably play those lines using strict alternate picking (Steve Morse is good that way). Except that kind of technique is really hard to develop.
Haha, so isn't this Jersey Mike? Sure looks and sounds like him! Well whaddaya' know? These days everybody thinks they can play guitar nowadays, eh? What's next, gonna' run for some political office?

Jimmy is great. Love his guitar playing and common sense !
I like Jimmy Bruno's no nonsense frankness when he tells the story about his career. Clearly, and no BS type of guy.
He was a wonderful interview and the Fret Dojo students all loved his private masterclass that he gave them. Terrific guy!
Yo Jim! I tried to get you into my Rolling Stone cover band when you were just a youngster but you were way too good for us. Looking good Jim!
All the best, love you and appreciate you Jimmy.

He's quite the character, as well as an amazing player and genuinely nice guy.

Great interview, Love hearing Jimmy Bruno, always!
My favorite tune from the featured album (Polarity) is "Poem for #15".

"Go sell shoes" - priceless
Jimmy is a unique and special character that's for sure :)
Jimmy's gotta start his UA-cam channel back up.
He does have an active new YT channel. It’s called Bruno online jazz school or something along that line.
I used to love his morning rants
@@huytonbaldyholy sh*t, yes!!!! I used to scream with laughter.

Clint Strong plays bebop with a lot of alternate picking. Similar to Hank Garland in style.
8:58 sounds like Jimmy had "Original Sound" off (if you were doing Zoom)
Yes my fault. I wasn't expecting him to play (glad he did!) so I didn't catch that before we started. We switched it about half way through.
Please get Hank Mackie from New Orleans on your awesome show
Great tip, we'll look into it!
@@FretDojo That’s spectacular
He tells nonpopular facts and isn't a snob like many so called artists.

Sad to see his skills deteriorate.
He probably dodged a career bullet by not being influenced early on by the popular rock guys.
Jimmy's postings on UA-cam are great and his turn of a word is fun to hear.
Jimmy is a treasure!
